Don’t use Hire a Helper. This company uses third party movers. You never know who you will get.
P.O.G Moving & Helpers, the company they provided me did not know how to protect my belongings. They had to come back and redo the work.
The owner said tethers were a pussy move. Since they didn’t use tethers things shifted and fell into the door, damaging it and bending it completely out of shape. Took hours to open the damaged door. Items were damaged and scratched.
I had moving blankets, padding, mattress covers, sofa covers, wrap and tethers. They didn’t bother to use most of it and acted like it was not going to make a difference.
Worst moving experience ever. Go with a private company that uses their own employed people that are trained in how to pack your truck or pod!

The guys were great and they did a good job but I would like to see them take a little better direction about what the customer wants. People have their own reasons for doing things and they need to be in tune to that.

Wonderful experience! They called me at the start of the day to touch base and give me an idea of their schedule for the day which was so helpful in giving me a heads up and settling my moving anxiety. They were really accommodating with my schedule as I was waiting on a container and didn’t know exactly when it would arrive.
When they arrived they were wearing masks and got right to work. They were respectful and cautious with our things and we were so impressed by their ability to get everything in perfectly, just like Tetris. They worked their butts off as quickly as they could, and lifted our most heavy things with ease. Would 100% recommend.

Spending $400 for professional movers to come and load POD means they should be able to maximize space to get as much in the unit as possible. I had to pull everything out and start over. What a waste of money.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
WE are a Niche Famiily Movers- We do not sub contract and we work very hard to provide service customers need and deserve
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
your move team contacts you 30-40 minutes prior to arrival. Time starts upon arrival- not before. Your Team lead is an expiernced mover and your move team is a vetted and trained moving team
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Boxes, boxes and more boxes. Have your items ready for load. Larger items and furniture we will manage when on site
What types of moves have you handled?
From next door to the house around the block to interstate moves to each of the 48 contiguous states & Cananda. Then somewhere in between too,
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The customers, every day iis new and different. getting to know someone even under the most stressful of times and having a commonality during this time
