This was a terrible moving company! When I called Hire A Helper, they told me that Jay's Moving Services was ranked 2nd best when it came to moving people. However, we got off on the wrong foot right from the start. After hiring this moving service through Hire A Helper, I was told that I would get a phone call from them 48 hours prior to the move. When I didn't hear from them, I called & called, texted & even got back in touch with Hire A Helper, which finally yielded some results in getting them to call me back. They did show up on time, which was about the only good thing they did, because upon their arrival they told me (I'm a 30 year old capable woman, but also have a 6 month old baby to care for while my husband works full time) that I would have to break down & unscrew all the furniture (beds, crib, washer & dryer, etc.) in order for them to proceed with helping me move. Additionally, they broke the door off my oversized refrigerator, trying to shove it through the front door. Additionally, we supplied them with plenty of moving blankets, stretch wrap, bubble wrap & news paper, because they told me that they would pack the items so to ensure safe transit as long as I gave them the goods to do so. When we received the truck in Northern California, we opened the back door to find that NOTHING had been wrapped with the exception of our three TV's. There is a large slit in our leather couch, all of our wood furniture is scratched, dented or severely worn down from rubbing against other furniture & while none of the glass from our entertainment center was broken, they wedged the glass in between the side wall of the truck's trailer & our sad (broken) refrigerator without anything protecting it. Please do yourself the favor & do not hire these guys for your next move! We are devastated by the amount of damage that has occurred to mostly all of our furniture, and will be doing all of the work ourselves next time.

Arley and Team were on time, neat, careful and respectful of our belongings and my wife and I. It was a stress free move of 4 rooms of our furniture into the garage for 'staging' our home for sale.
We will use Hire A Helper when we move to Albuquerque and hope we get a crew as professional as this one.

Great team. Very professional. Got the job done at exactly the estimated amount of time. My special request was that my things had to be packed and stored for over three months so please pack with extra consideration. The way things were packed showed their experience. Would definitely recommend these guys to everyone.
