Very pleased with GR8LABOR and the crew they sent to help us load our PODS unit! They arrived on time and took great care in wrapping our furniture items so that everything was well protected. Myron & Josh even the extra mile and helped to reposition some of our already-loaded items so that the load was better balanced for the PODS' transportation. They were efficient, effective, and courteous, and definitely have my recommendation!

Want to give two stars but because the guys were good in personality & I have a ton of stuff I'll be fair. They were on time but not fully prepared with tools and to make matters frustrating God only knows where the nuts/bolts/screws & such that come from my bed set are? They say they gave them to me. They didn't. When they said they usually then put them in the drawers they can't confirm this to be true. Now to the part that annoyed me. They broke a glass panel in my china cabinet and said it was because a screw fell out, screw was still in place. They damaged the wood frame of my rental's basement door, I will have a fit if my landlord charges me for it. My $45 plastic super sized drawer I use for baking sheets is now broke, didn't even think to insure that. And only 3/17 pieces of furniture were moved in over 3 hrs. Told me my basement was all clear. Not true, still heavy things down there and in the garage that I couldn't lift by myself. I was repeatedly told if the mishap with truck rental hadn't occurred and they had a bigger truck more could be done. Not possible. Took most of the time booked, 3hrs, to load the smaller truck and they went over that to unload. The strangers I got to help me move the rest of the furniture, etc filled a bigger truck in 5 hrs, with 2 trips. Overall I've had better efficiency from free labor and cheaper labor in the past & this move. I wasn't going to leave this mixed review until I saw the additional damage and the fact they lost my screws/etc for my dresser/bedframe and the message I received about it was curt and flippant. That oh well response sealed the deal. Use this service for small moves with not very fragile things. But if you're by yourself with a lot to do and unable to watch every move I wouldn't risk it. And an apology & ownership for the damage and loosing my things would have gone a long way to this being a positive review.

They were not in uniforms, which to me is a big deal as I was just moving into my new home and two random day laborers showed up. They did dent dent two areas of my home but actively related them. Twice they returned to my home without a phone call or a heads up which I found upsetting. I appreciated their hard work and helping move my belongings, it wasn’t as seamless as I had hoped for the cost.

Yes sometimes moves don't go as easy as we like them and navigating large items into tight spaces can causes some dings. I believe we did make the neccessary repairs you requested and were happy when we left your home.

Michael the supervisor did as little as he possibly could on the job, and he asked my daughter and I to help him throughout the move. Michael was also a chronic whiner. But the other helper worked his tail off. I would give the the other helper 5/5 but since Michael did as little as possible I have to give the overall move a 3/5.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
That our team will call 30minutes or more before arrival and movers will be on time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The more organize the better the move will go if they have any questions our team is just a phone call away and will answer any question they may have. So the can rest assure they will have a great move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done alot of moves over the years local mostly some long distance even office moves. We have loaded and unload hundreds of pods and ABF trailers and so on. You name it we probably moved it pianos gun safes. Book us today thank you in advance for the business. Corporate moves and commercial moves are something we specialize in also thank you!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people everyday and just being able to help people with something they couldn't do without us because we are the pros and we love what we do.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide our crew with an extensive 20 hour mover training course which is industry standard. After training the trainee will be with one of our vet who has 10 years or more experience in the moving industry who can lead and guide our trainees in the right direction.
