Sacramento Mover Reviews
They csme in 10;30 instead of 09:00 as scheduled. However, they texted me that they will come by 10:00 instead . While on the way they got delayed by a traffic accident and informed that they will be smother 30 mts late. They came at 10:30 and finished at 2;30 PM. They followed our directions and completed their tasks professionally. Easy to work with and following the directions. They are five star rated movers and I will use them again if I need to
Great movers!! I would recommend them to my family and friends when it time to move. The movers were on time and got after the moving boxes and furnitures quickly and professionally! Amazing job!!
Great job loading our ReloCube. Very efficient and friendly. Excellent customer service.
The young men where very professional. In and out in about 40 minutes. Thanks
The guys were on time, and did a great job. They were very careful with all of my stuff. They packed up the truck well so that nothing shifted around during the drive. I didn't think it was all going to fit, but they got it all in, and got it to fit. I would highly recommend them.
Exceptional service!...Very happy!
They were great able to get everything i wanted in the pod
Damion and crew did a wonderful job of loading and packing. Damion was especially skillful with the packing. All were courteous and efficient. Great job!!!
Company did not respond to my phone call, say the phone down and die other work while I just listened. They did not answer the phone in a professional manner. When I called back it went straight into a voicemail box that was full. I will never use this company again even though the workers did a good job.
Order #2595811 Timeliness: The team arrived on time and kept me updated on their ETA, which I appreciated. Preparedness: They were well-prepared, bringing all the necessary equipment and packing materials to handle my belongings efficiently. Even wrapped items. Work Ethic: The movers worked hard from start to finish, managing the move quickly and carefully, without cutting corners. Respectfulness: They were respectful of my property and goods, handling each item with care to prevent damage. They also took precautions to protect the walls and floors, which was a nice touch. Would I Use Them Again? Yes, I’d definitely consider using Movers of Sacramento again. They made what can be a stressful process smooth and worry-free. Highly recommended!
So patient and understanding!! I had some banking issues to fix before we could get started and they were so kind to wait while I worked it out. And they got me loaded in in record time on a 100°F day!! Thank you guys so much!!!
These men showed up on time and were vey professional and provided excellent service all around. They were able to get all of my belongings in the 15’ truck and it was properly tied and safely secured. Very happy to recommend them.
Can I please say the 2 guys that came were the sweetest, polite and warm people I have met in a while. They were early and were waiting for me which is a blessing in my case anyway. They 100% took care with my belongings as they removed from my storage and loaded properly in the truck. I am extremely HAPPY with the entire experience and I ENCOURAGE STRONGLY that you hire them for ANY job you may have because you will be more than happy you did trust me.
They worked hard and were quick and efficient. They worked really hard to not go over time. They were great! Hard workers!
Demetrius and his two crew mates were fantastic! Worked and got everything done ahead of schedule.
The two gentlemen from Akt'N Up arrived on time, were professional and polite, and worked hard.

Major Neighborhoods in Sacramento
Sacramento is California's capital, and harkens all the way back to the Gold Rush era. You can see and feel a lot of that history in the Old Sacramento district, where wooden sidewalks, wagon rides, and interesting historic attractions still feature, including the California State Railroad Museum. If you want some more modern entertainment, you're still in luck! You can grab a ticket to see the Oakland A’s play at Sutter Health Park. Or if you're a fan of live music, you'll love attending the city’s annual Concerts in the Park series, which takes place at Cesar Chavez Plaza on Friday nights every summer. So no matter what you prefer to do or see, there's a perfect neighborhood for you in Sacramento, and qualified local movers who will help you navigate the city.
Midtown
Midtown Sacramento has a hip and lively vibe, thanks to all the breweries, nightclubs, and delicious dining in the area. Downtown Sacramento
You've probably seen the iconic neoclassical capitol building in Downtown Sacramento before. As nice as the spectacular architecture is, there's still more to love about the area. Every Thursday from May to September, locals visit the Bodega Days market for handmade goods, local produce, and hot food. Speaking of eats, you can't go wrong stopping for a meal at popular spots like 8th Street Pizza or Bali Kitchen. Since Downtown is the city’s financial hub, the streets can get busy during commutes. So be sure to check out our list of local movers who know how to avoid the worst of it for you.
East Sacramento
East Sacramento is a little more residential, quiet, and upscale than other neighborhoods, which means it's the perfect fit for professionals and retirees. The area has a terrific dining scene offering casual burgers and brews at places like Hawks Provisions & Public House as well as farm-to-table fare like Bacon & Butter offers. Residents enjoy walking and playing in McKinley Park, which boasts an impressive rose garden, exciting concerts, movie nights, and food truck events. And the events don't stop there. There's also the annual East Sacramento Garden Tour and summertime concerts at Pops in the Park. Already planning on enjoying the community and atmosphere of East Sacramento? Then check out our list of qualified local movers to find a professional who will take care of the logistics for you.
Curtis Park
Curtis Park centers on its namesake, and is a great choice for anyone with dogs, a jogging habit, kids, or simply wants to live somewhere near a nice green space. There are plenty of craftsman bungalows and Tudor Revival residences, for those who enjoy older-style homes. Locals enjoy visiting the 24th Street Theater, a historic 1929 building that hosts concerts, comedy performances, and plays. The neighborhood is a little on the smaller side compared to other areas in Sacramento, but that just means you get to know your neighbors! Try meetups at Meet & Eat or Café Dantorels for lunch or a hot cup of coffee and a fresh pastry. The two men from Let's Get Moving were diligent, courteous, skillful and patient. I recommend them to anyone who needs help with moving stuff, particularly if you are using the PODS unit.
They did an amazing job. They were friendly, and moved quickly. They were like Tetris masters getting everything in two moving containers. Definitely recommend them!
The guys were on time, and did a great job. They were very careful with all of my stuff. They packed up the truck well so that nothing shifted around during the drive. I didn't think it was all going to fit, but they got it all in, and got it to fit. I would highly recommend them.
They were on time, prepared, and professional. They did an excellent job strategizing how to fit the most into the truck I had rented (I probably should have rented the bigger size!). I would highly recommend them!
So patient and understanding!! I had some banking issues to fix before we could get started and they were so kind to wait while I worked it out. And they got me loaded in in record time on a 100°F day!! Thank you guys so much!!!
They were very understanding and flexible when the wrong POD was accidentally dropped at my home. Once the move was underway, they were on time, professional, and courteous, and got the job done efficiently.
They were 45 min past the “window” yet I understand the issues involved with both packing and unloading….. they were both great and worked very carefully and diligently… Thank you guys! :) :)
They had some trouble with transportation that day. But they were good about communication and I knew exactly what was going on. They worked quickly and efficiently once they got here.
The movers arrived on time. They were very professional in wrapping and protecting my furniture. They moved everything I requested even though it was 100 degrees. They unpacked and placed things were I wanted. All in all it was a very good experience.
Both Justin and Jarod were very professional and efficient. I even asked them to move a few pieces because I didn’t like where I asked them to place them. They were very nice, patient and complied with my request. I would definitely recommend them to other movers and I will use them again.
Great group of guys that listened to everything I wanted and made it all fit. I have no idea how they did it but they got all of my stuff to fit. I’d recommend them.
Lewis Moving Company unloaded the pod quickly, efficiently and carefully. They sought and followed my instructions as to where to place my furniture and other belongings.
