Washington Moving Labor Services was really great to work with. I selected them because they were insured and bonded, background checks, and they provided workmans compensation for their employees / laborers. Jason, the owner, is very professional, responsive and customer focused. The two two moving laborers were extremely organized, efficient, and friendly. I was amazed by how conscientious they were in handling my belongings and furnishings, and with packing a storage container so that everything was stable and well secured. I would definitely recommend Washington Moving Labor Services.

The owner kept in great contact with me as the day of the move came closer. The movers arrived on time and ready to work. There was never a moment in many hours where they were not working. I would definitely recommend this service without hesitation.

The guys who came to help were great. They were friendly, professional and hard working. Because they had to use an elevator their progress was slowed down (as they saw it). Instead of milking the extra time they did nothing but apologize and work harder.
This was the first time I had ever hired some extra help for moving and I would not hesitate to do it again through this company.

I scheduled my appointment online and Jason called me shortly thereafter. He was very professional on the phone and assured me quality service with the move. I arranged to meet the guys at the Uhaul company where I rented a truck and had them drive from there. They were running behind due to unforeseen circumstances while en route, but called to let me know they were on their way. Once they arrived, they apologized for being late and let me know the start time would be from the time they got there.
Once Dave and Dave got to the house I indicated all the pieces which needed to be moved. After that, they needed little direction and were very quick and efficient with getting everything loaded. We had to make two trips to unload, however, they still finished under the expected time I had projected and didn't charge me for the extra hour. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service! These guys did an awesome job and I would recommend them to anyone needing help with a move.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After a client books with us we put you on our schedule and then we always call the client as the move gets close and confirm the details of the move to make sure that we fully understand the scope of the work to be performed. It's very important that we are on the same page with our clients and so we have learned through the years what the most important questions are to ask and facets of the move to go over with our clients.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
When it is move day for our clients we always call our clients when we are on our way to let them know we are on track for the move. We know how stressful it is to move and so we do everything we can to decrease the stress of our clients and this is one way we do that so they know they don't need to worry about us not showing up.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
It's very important that the client be as prepared for the move as much as possible to make sure that the move will go smoothly. The more packed up all the small items that need to go in boxes the faster the move will go which will end up saving you money on the move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have helped nearly 5,000 moves since our company was founded in 2013. We have come across many types of situations over the years. We mostly do residential moves with standard household items. We have loaded and unloaded a great many POD's, ABF containers, U-pack cubes, U-haul trucks, Penske trucks, and Budget trucks for local moves and interstate moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We love that we get to be the hero's of the moving world. We believe that we make a huge difference in the lives of the people in our community by providing the best possible customer experience to meet and exceed our clients expectations. We really feel like we show up and save the day by relieving the stress of our clients on a very stressful day of their lives and as we all know stress kills so we think we are saving lives :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
We have developed a 100 page training manual for our movers that we methodically keep track of where they are on their training. We also make sure that we are putting the new movers on the more simple jobs at first until they gain more experience. most of our movers have been with us for years and so they are very experienced and can handle most any situation that comes their way. The newer movers we always pair up with the experienced guys whenever they are on the more complicated and larger moves.
