Do not use this company. Essentially the service that I paid for is not the service I received. Bottom line is that Elite Moving Services hired some 20 and 21 year old guys off the street to conduct a move and it was not professional, some items were broken, and my place was left dust and dirty. Also the guys who showed up were not prepared. When I tried to rectify the situation it was name calling and horrible customer service. Also, Hire A Helper did not do a great job of trying to help to solve the dispute either. I would not recommend either company for any future moves.

There were three individuals. They showed up late and we’re not prepared for the job. They dropped numerous boxes and damaged the dresser, nightstand and gaming chair. They were supposed to assemble the bed but didn’t bring tools. I offered my tools then they refused. This is not a professional organization and should NEVER be used. They entire process was insulting and demeaning watching people not care one bit for your personal items.

Where to start, first, they were almost 3h late. I had booked two helpers from 9 to 10 am and they showed up slightly after noon after I did most of the moving myself with a truck I rented. They just helped me moving the couch and two beds and smaller pieces of furniture. We were done with the whole moving within 2h.
I contacted the company to let them know that I didn't need the guys for 3 hours as I originally booked, because I ended up doing most of the moving myself (during the 3h I was waiting for them). They told me that they understand, they would edit the quote and charge me only 2h. Big surprise when I saw that they lied and still charged me 3h. I talked with the manager and explained the problem, he told me he would look into it and come back to me, never heard back. I am calling them since then, but for some reason they are not available to take calls anymore, I called 6 times in the last 2 days and couldn't get to anyone.
Conclusion, the invoice I paid said two workers for 3h from 9 to 10 am, but this is a lie, no one ever showed up between 9-10am, I did most of the moving alone and rented my own truck, this costed me 276$, for 1h of work. I am disappointed.

No call, no show. Originally our scheduled time was for 8am but two days prior to move they sent a text essentially stating that they are no longer available at that time and that they would be there between 1 and 2. 2:00 rolls by no call and no one there. I had to call the office only to be told they are an hour away. An hour goes by and nothing. I call again told 30 mins. Still nothing. They showed up after 6 but I started loading everything at 2 and was pretty much done. I paid for the uhaul from noon and couldn’t return before 7 so had to pay additional charges. When they finally did show up they didn’t seem to be movers. Couple small guys in jeans, not really dressed the party for moving in 100 degree weather. Not professional, not reliable, can speak on their work since they did none. Wasted my entire day and forced me to do all the work. I pre-paid for hourly work. It was schedule and all I was told was that the previous jobs took longer. If we pay by the hour then that’s goes long you work for. This company is unable to handle the logistics of a simple moving company. Never hire them, never use them, stop referring them to other customer’s who will only end up burned. Worst move ever.

The movers were nice guys but management was badly managed and not professional. Movers arrived late with no means of transportation and no tools whatsoever! This made the time so much longer and forced us to take more trips with a moving truck that we were charged by the mile!! Honestly unless i am contacted and this is resolved I would never use this again or advise anyone else to.
