Relocation with On-Time Movers

A growing moving company dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients including packing, unpacking and moving in an efficient manner while maintaining quality work. COI provided for additional cost; Out of state clients are responsible for toll; All moves involving a piano, safe, pool table or items over 300 lbs automatically requires 3-4 helpers plus additional cost. PLEASE NOTIFY IN ADVANCE. Price negotiation is available for smaller versions of these three items listed. Next-day service requests incur a 50 percent premium charge of the base rate. UNSANITARY ITEMS/SPACES WILL NOT BE TOUCHED BY THE TEAM (i.e. ~ mildewed, rotted, asbestos, excessive dirt).

I will NEVER use your services again

Thank you for your feedback. However, I am confused as to where this is coming from. The service provided to your mother who was the intended client. It was smooth, timely, and affordable. The client was extremely grateful and pleased with the service so much that she hired us to return the following day. In fact, she wanted us to return a 3rd day and only was deterred by your instruction being that you did not want to pay for additional services. Extra time was provided at no charge. The team was punctual and organized, and assisted with reorganizing to make it easier for her and her ill husband to move around their home until everything was loaded into the pods, which was a multi-day process. I'm not sure where the problem or miscommunication occurred to cause such a negative reaction, outside of HireAHelper having to get involved for payment to be released for the initial service provided. We are more than happy and willing to provide additional services if and when needed. And again, we appreciate your feedback.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Communication within 48 hours to discuss the details and officially add them to the company calendar.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

A call from me or a team member when in route and upon arrival. Consistent communication if there are any emergency issues. Evaluation of the property and physical discrepancies pointed out prior to moving any specific item.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Be fully packed (unless hired for packing), have the transport vehicle close enough to the doorway of the moving location, clean and clear walkways to avoid injury during the moving process.

What types of moves have you handled?

Local, long distance (up to 100 miles), office, piano, pool table, safe, heavy furniture moving within the home.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Meeting new people and seeing new places.

What training do you provide your crew members?

All team members come in with basic experience. Additional training, such as properly loading the truck, assembly/disassembly, and properly working as a team to carry larger and heavier items are done on the job with leads that are assigned to each team.

Same Day Moves

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.

Next Day Moves

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

Refunding Unused Time

We do not refund for any unused time.

Extra Hours

We cannot guarantee availability beyond the pre-booked time.

Face coverings and gloves:
Team members always have masks. We will wear gloves as requested., (upon request, no fee)
Furniture dolly or straps:
always included, no fee
Hand tools for assembly:
Tools can be provided for the customer at no charge. If the team is performing the assembly/disassembly, that service is an additional charge of $40/hr, depending on the items., (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
always included, no fee
Plastic wrap:
Only provided for full service jobs, ($25.00/ea.)
Rope:
Only provided for full service jobs, ($5.00/ea.)
