Two movers came for two hours to help us get ready for old carpet removal and new carpet installation. They had to haul most things including some heavy stuff from second floor to first since we were only re-carpeting the second floor. They worked fast but carefully and finished in two hours! (We had spent previous few days boxing things up and prepping for the move.) We're expecting them back in a few days to restore everything back to it's original place and reassemble beds, desks etc. which will take more than two hours, of course. We would definitely use J&M Moving again.

After confirming my appointment (time and location) with Mallori of J&M the day before the job (since I hadn't ever heard from anyone after scheduling online), I received a call the next morning (moving day) from one of the actual laborers wondering where I was located and what time they needed to show up?! Since I was moving, I didn't get the message. NO ONE ever called or showed up after that. I called both the Laborer and Mallori back several times after the movers were an hour late, and NO ONE ever picked up...went straight to voice mail. Finally, at 5pm I called Mallori to leave her yet another message and she actually answered. She sounded like she had been asleep. I was able to make arrangements for the next morning to move the remaining FEW items that I had left, after doing the move myself instead. I let her know I wanted a deep discount for this disaster and she agreed. I got conflicting stories all around the next morning when the laborers showed up...they were all trying to cover for everyone else.
I DO want to say the boys that showed up to move my items (finally!) were VERY nice and did a great job...I wish I hadn't had to deal with the person running the moving company...useless.
I would NEVER recommend hiring this company...I know I never will again.

Matt and Zack were a great team. They were careful, organized, friendly and were able to move whatever item I needed moving. I am going to hire them again. I also found the website and customer service to be excellent.

They were 1 1/2 hours late. I called and left several messages. I did receive a call an hour after they were scheduled to let me know they were on the way.
I learned later that they left the job they were on so I didnt have to wait longer, and they still had to go back and finish their other job. They were great and moved everything very quickly.
