The 2 guys were polite, professional and hard working they didn’t damage nothing I will be using hire a helper again for sure. They unloaded a 20ft truck with ease. Thank you not for all your hard work. Please tip these guys the price is low and they are worth much more.

Horrible experience. Booked for multiple days and time window was critical. Crew of 4 was supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am and work for 8 hours. They never showed up and did not return our multiple phone calls. Then hire a helper calls us and says they booked another job at the same time, so they can come instead between Noon and 1pm. They arrived at 12:40 and worked until 4:30pm. And we were still charged for 8 hours of work and they are the ones that were late. Owner did nothing to help. The next day same order. 3 out of 4 guys arrived on time, one guy was 2 hours late, they all took a one hour lunch break and we were again billed for 4 guys for 8 hours. We have worked with Hire A Helper for years in many cities but have never had such a horrible experience with a mover (and with HireAHelper). If you are moving in Raleigh this is not the right company.

Horrible. Booked or 4 guys for 8 hours beginning at 8am. Showed up at 1240pm and worked until 430pm and demanding payment for 8 hours. Another day one of the 4 movers arrived 2 hours late and no modifications to payment structure was allowed so we where required to pay for 2 hours not worker and on the 3rd and final day in the middle of the day one mover just left. I assume Hireahelper will demand full payment as well. This company is a disaster. Both the mover and hire a helper.

The 3 helpers were courteous, careful and respectful of us and our belongings. One did not speak English very well, so it presented a slight issue in telling him what to do or where to go but pointing and saying what room worked. They were about 15 minutes late with no phone call to let us know they were running late, so I had to call to confirm that we did not need to find a replacement. They also did not have hand truck or all tools necessary, but we did, so they could assemble the 2 beds and dining table.

While I’m willing to give them 5 stars, they were 90 minutes late. This caused me to be behind with the rest of my move packing some fragile and other boxes separately.
Brandon was less communicable than I had hoped to update me on his status.
I used them to pack my pod and to unpack it a year later. They should have removed the door before moving in a couch so scratched door a bit.
Other than that, they moved and assembled. If they would guarantee being on time, I would consider using them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will reach out via email or phone call within 24 hours of booking. Same or next day requests will be contacted same day, but are urged to call if needing help or have any questions to be answered more urgently.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You can expect our teams to be present on time or early the day of your move, greeting you with warm smiles to let you know we willl be there to help smoothen out the process of moving. We guarantee the quality of our services every move, every day! We stretch wrap all of your furniture!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Create a list of all your goods! Begin the consolidating and elimination process before the day of your move, this helps our crew work efficiently and most effectively to save you money and time in the long run! Plan to have all packing materials and other necessary handy to ensure safe travel for your goods. Contact us directly if needing any additional packing materials. (wrapping paper, stretch wrap, tv boxes, wardrobe boxes, mirror boxes etc)

We enjoy having floating offices! Everyday is different, and after 3000+ moves, we've gained a unique experience and perspective through each customer. We work in field where being flexible and active becomes the greatest advantages to being a mover. There’s no need for a gym membership here! Maintaining compassion and commitment to our customers keep us physically and mentally going each day!
