Q's Moving Corporation were wonderful to deal with, from start to finish. It's a family-operated business, which I love, so I felt they had more of a personal presence and everyone I talked at their office regarding the move was kind, patient and very professional. They arrived on time (in fact, a little earlier, which was great because we had a limited window to move items from the Manhattan apt. building), they were very prepared and respectful of our property. Our experience with Q’s movers was mixed. The movers showed up early for the job which in most cases would be preferred but we weren’t quite ready for them to be there so it caused some chaos, disorganization, and items to be loaded that weren’t ready to go yet because our attention was on trying to finished wrapping furniture and packing instead of directing what was going and what wasn’t. They also came in an “assessed” the job and tried to get an additional 2 movers out which would have doubled our cost because they said the job couldn’t be done in 4 hours. Once the movers began they worked hard and got the majority of our larger furniture and boxes loaded into our PODS in the 4 hours we had reserved them leave only about an hour worth of work for my husband to finished of small items. They did however stop working for the final 20-30 min of our time because they were waiting for my husband to return from buying ratchet straps as ours had already been loaded into the POD by mistake. There was still furniture in the house and boxes that needed to be loaded into the 2nd POD that they could have been doing in that time. Also when they left we noticed a large gouge in the wall and large paint transfer scratches on our hardwood floors upstairs. We have not arrived at our final destination yet so it is unknow how their packing of the PODS holds up as far as damage to our belongings but it did appear as though our POD was packed well. If I did chose to use them again I would not have allowed them to start prior to my requested start time and I would have watched a little closer to what they were doing and checked my home well prior to their leaving for damages.

On moving day I hired 3 men from Q’s moving Corporation. They arrived promptly and properly introduced themselves. They did a walk through to evaluate what I was moving and then got right to work. They wrapped and protected my furniture and belongings as if it belonged to them. I mean they took the best care to protect everything they were packing. They never stopped working. They drank water and went right back to work and finished promptly. They were respectful and didn’t damage anything in the house or any of my belongings. I had lots of heavy furniture and I live in a three story townhouse. Which means they had to carry everything downstairs. They did it without complaining. Great group of strong men. I highly without hesitation recommend this company. I definitely will use them again to unload my POD or for any move I have in the future. Their prices were a bit higher than other companies but I called last minute and got the movers I needed on the day of my move. Excellent job. I’m a satisfied customer.

We are so glad we had the crew from Q’s Moving Corp load our PODS. These guys were amazing. First they called to apologize and say they would be a little late because they were stuck in traffic. They arrived exactly at the time they estimated they would. As soon as they arrived all three introduced themselves and we gave them a quick show round of what was moving and what was staying. They immediately went to work like a well oiled machine. Each had a particular task and they didn’t mess around. They hit the ground running. Everything was packed and wrapped professionally and with care. They loaded the pods maximizing every inch of space. Literally within 3 hours, to the minute, they were done. I would highly recommend Q’s without hesitation and would use them again if I ever had the need for excellent movers! Thank you Q’s!
