We had a POD to pack and had way too much stuff to fit, but they did a great job efficiently packing in as much as possible. The guys were nice, experienced with packing, and fast.

I was very disappointed on several fronts. It was not an easy job, but the workers worked very slowly, and wasted a lot of time. They continually checked the time, and it appeared that they planned to finish up just past two hours, in order to get paid for the extra hour. In addition, there was a major billing issue. Your company billed my debit card $220. It was completely taken out of my bank account. When I called to add the extra hour (which I was already annoyed about), the issue was that my bank had issued me a new debit card with a different number, so you couldn't verify it. That's understandable. However, the solution was unacceptable., The representative cancelled the original order and billed my new debit card the total of $275 (the original $220 + $55 for the extra hour). That amount was taken out of my account immediately, but the original $220 (already taken) has yet to be refunded, and I was told it could take up to 7-10 days. That's poor service all around.

I needed help moving half of furniture from a POD container into my 2 story home and the other half from POD container into a smaller climate controlled storage unit. It was a big job and I contacted HireAHelper, who hooked me up with Moving Texas. The 2 men from Moving Texas, who helped me, were 110% perfect!!! They showed up on time, were well prepared with correct equipment, energetic and very pleasant!!! They took perfect care of my furniture and were great with organization, placement and storage techniques!!! I was extremely pleased and would definitely use them again????

Morris and his partner were friendly and on-time and fast. I did have a couple of issues with where and how they placed my stuff as they loaded it inside. I asked them to put all boxes marked "kitchen" in the kitchen, all boxes marked "bedroom" in the bedroom, and then leave the rest in the living room. After they left, I saw that there were many boxes labeled bedroom and kitchen that were just left in the living room near the door, so I had to move those across the house by myself (which is annoying since this is why I spent money on movers). There were also some boxes not treated with the care they should have been. In one instance, I found a tower of four boxes stacked on top of each other - the three boxes on top were clearly marked BOOKS (i.e., they were heavy), and the one on the bottom was my china that was clearly marked KITCHEN/FRAGILE. There were two pieces of china broken in that box - obviously I have no way of knowing when that happened, but common sense should dictate not stacking three boxes of books on top of a box marked fragile. Since the movers were only there for 45 minutes out of the 2 hours I had them booked for, I think they should have slowed down and taken more care in loading my belongings inside and in the proper locations. They weren't horrible, but I also probably wouldn't use them again.

Moving Texas guys were awesome to work with. The heat index was above 110 and not one complaint from any of them. They were friendly and respectful to us and our property. Prior to arriving they called to discuss what was needed to be unloaded, gave an estimated time of arrival and then called when they were 40 minutes out so we were always informed. Great group of guys and I would highly recommend them.
