2 men showed up early and went right to work. Unloaded 2 u boxes in less than 2 hours. Used pads on Dolly's to move washer dryer and fridge. Very polite and respectful towards all my belongings. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them for any job.

Somewhat of a long post, but worthy of the read. TL;DR at the bottom.
The job: load a trailer with our previously packed house. No packing was required on their part, just moving all our stuff from the house into the trailer for a move out of state.
The good: 1) Very friendly team. 2) They arrived within the stated hour, and were done within the 3 hour window. 3) Worked incredibly hard in the humid St Louis summer heat!
The bad: 1) The packing job was very poor, with some items just randomly placed without regard to weight shifting. I had to spend an additional 4 hours AFTER they left redoing the packing job. This saved us from using almost the entire 27' of trailer to just 19'. 2) They scratched the floor of the house and the top of at least 1 of our dressers. The floor damage was likely due to one person trying to do a 2 person job as this was something I saw repeatedly. 3) They used only ONE furniture blanket, despite us providing 30+, and requesting that they use them. 4) They loaded a dresser facing downhill so that all the drawers opened at once. One drawer fell out, which then dumped the very delicate pottery/glass contents onto the floor. Amazingly nothing seemed to have broken, but this situation was predictable, preventable, and added to my concern about their overall lack of knowledge about proper packing of a trailer.
TL;DR: very nice guys, but the job was quite poor, very much below the standard of the team we hired 4 years prior. Although this is only 1 team of movers, and Fuse likely has others, I cannot recommend this company for moving assistance for anyone else. Too many mistakes, too little expertise.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
It helps to be properly packed up. Boxes taped up and loose items boxed or bagged ready to go. Also blankets for wrapping wood and other delicate items should be made available. Pathway from the home, through the door way to the truck should be kept clear as possible so as not to interfere with the smooth, efficient and safe movement of items from the home to the truck or container

We have handled every type of move. Local, long distance, office, warehouse, pods, trucks, containers, home rearranging, tractor trailers as well
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We love making customers happy and getting very positive feedback. One of my favorite parts is when a customer seems so worried about how they will get it all done but are all smiles and exuberant when we start clearing out things quickly and efficiently. The change from worried to pure joy and happiness can be quite fulfilling.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We make sure all our movers are able to properly lift all items safely. New crew members are made to shadow our tenured & highly experienced movers to show them how we get our moves done. This also includes paying attention to details as well as courteous customer interactions. We start them with simple, quick moves and gradually scale them up to more intricate, bigger moves as they show proficiency and ability to grasp the essentials. Our movers are very highly experienced & have been proven in the field
