TALKED TO MOVER FUSE MOVERS A KENNY AT 9.30 PM NIGHT BEFORE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS SET UP AND GOOD FOR NEXT DAY MOVE. WE WENT THRU ALL DETAILS OF MOVE INCLUDING LOCATION, ADDRESS ECT. I SAID I NEEDED A 100 PERCENT THAT HE WOULD BE THERE CONFIRMATION AS WE WERE DRIVING 8 HOURS TO DO MOVE AND RENTING TRUCK AND TRAILER TO MOVE MY DAUGHTER. HE ASSURED ME HE KNEW THE TOWN AND LOCATION AND WOULD 100% BE THERE TO DO THE MOVE. HE SAID HE HAD MOVED SEVERAL PEOPLE IN THE TOWN AND ALL WOULD BE GOOD. I LEFT MY HOUSE AT 4.00 A.M. AND HEADED OUT. AT APROX 11.00 A.M. I GET A CALL FROM HIRE A HELPER SAYING KENNY SAID HE DOES NOT SERVICE THAT TOWN IT WAS TO FAR AWAY. THIS IS THE GUY THAT #1 EXCEPTED THE MOVE 2. SAID HE HAD DONE SEVERAL MOVES IN THAT TOWN AND 3. TOLD ME HE WOULD 100% BE THERE TO DO THE MOVE. I TOLD HIRE A HELPER I NEEDED SOMEBODY AS WE HAD NO CHOICE MY DAUGHTER HAD TO BE MOVED FROM THIS HOUSE BY END OF DAY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD TRY AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE. ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER A CALL BACK SAYING SORRY WE CANT FIND ANYONE TO MOVE YOU. I EXPLAINED THIS WAS NOT A OPTION AND KENNY KNEW THE DAY BEFORE EXACTLY WHERE HOUSE WAS AND PROMISED HE WOULD BE THERE. THEY SAID NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR ME AS HE CANCELLED THE JOB. NOW I AM OUT $350 FOR TRUCK AND TRAILER RENTAL. ABOUT $100 IN FUEL, 2 DAYS OF MISSED WORK AND $1200 TO HIRE ANOTHER GUY WITH A TRUCK TO NOW MOVE HER 3 DAYS LATER. NOT ALONE THE AGGRAVATION OF SETTING ALL BEDS BACK UP TO SLEEP FOR 3 MORE NIGHTS , PUTTING A FOOD FROM COOLERS BACK INTO REFRIDGE AFTER COOLING BACK DOWN, UNPACKING CLOTHES TO HAVE CLOTHES FOR 3 MORE DAYS FOR HER AND THE 3 AND 6 YEAR OLD,A SECOND TRIP FOR ME DOWN OVER 8 HOURS DRIVE AGAIN AND ANOTHER DAYS WORK. ALONG WITH MANY MORE ISSUES THAT GO WITH ALL OF THIS. HIRE A HELPER MANAGER OFFERED NOTHING EXCEPT TO CREDIT ME BACK WHAT THEY HAD CHARGED ME. I WAS GOING TO USE CRAIGSLIST TO HIRE A MOVER BUT DECIDED TO SPEND THE EXTRA TO MAKE SURE I HAD RELIABLE HELP. SO MUCH FOR THAT. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE OR TRUST THEM WITH ANY OF MY OR MY 4 KIDS MOVES IN THE FUTURE.

2 hours late, multiple check ins with the manager, apparently they were on another job during my slotted time.

Hard workers-only had them move the heavy suff. They were were about 45 min late because of road closures and traffic. They were very careful with every item they moved.

The two movers came on time if not a little earlier. There was a younger male and an older male. The younger male seemed to be on his phone more than helping the older male move items to the moving van. We provided moving blankets and the movers did not use it on the wooden pieces of furniture therefore the wooden furniture was scratched in the moving van. The older male seemed more interested in getting the work done than the younger male. Otherwise, the move was ok

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
It helps to be properly packed up. Boxes taped up and loose items boxed or bagged ready to go. Also blankets for wrapping wood and other delicate items should be made available. Pathway from the home, through the door way to the truck should be kept clear as possible so as not to interfere with the smooth, efficient and safe movement of items from the home to the truck or container

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We love making customers happy and getting very positive feedback. One of my favorite parts is when a customer seems so worried about how they will get it all done but are all smiles and exuberant when we start clearing out things quickly and efficiently. The change from worried to pure joy and happiness can be quite fulfilling.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We make sure all our movers are able to properly lift all items safely. New crew members are made to shadow our tenured & highly experienced movers to show them how we get our moves done. This also includes paying attention to details as well as courteous customer interactions. We start them with simple, quick moves and gradually scale them up to more intricate, bigger moves as they show proficiency and ability to grasp the essentials. Our movers are very highly experienced & have been proven in the field
