Tony & Paul with Umbrella Movers showed up on time at 8:00am on Memeorial Day weekend none the less. They were both very curtious and worked quickly while taking good care when moving our furniture. We had moved all our furniture into a mobile storage unit while our home was being painted & carpeted. I would recommend Umbrella Movers and will be using them again for moving our furniture back in.

My Wife and I are moving out of state and needed help filling our POD. We were going to do a "Home Depot/Star Nursery run" to get some help but we decided to hire actual movers instead. PODS recommended two companies but both were more than what I wanted to spend. I found Umbrella Movers through http://hireahelper.com. I hired them based on their price and Hireahelper and Yelp reviews which were favorable.
The guys (Shane and Aaron) called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They took a quick look around the house to take a look at everything that had to go and immediately got to work. I had read reviews where some movers had milked the clock and wasted time so Wifey and I figured we'd hire people to move our big heavy items (incuding an incredibly heavy marble dresser, and bed from the second floor), and then she and I would fill in the boxes after the movers 3 hours were over. Well in 3 hours these guys not only handled the heavy items but literally packed everything else too. They didn't waste any time and it was apparent these guys had filled a POD before. We actually have space left over.
They used ratchet tie downs that I supplied and furniture pads that I rented from uhaul and took care to secure items we said were fragile.
I called in to hire a hireahelper to release payment after they were completed.
I seriously have nothing negative to say about the experience with hireahelper.com and Umbrella Movers. I would recommend both highly! Unfortunately Umbrella Movers does not operate in our destination city as I would use them again, but I will definitely be using hireahelper.com to help find movers to unload the POD in a few weeks!

Customer service did a great job, they were late arriving to my job because they ran into some setbacks in the previous job. They called before their appointed time and kept me informed the until they showed up. They were great... finished before I thought they would and packed the truck up in a very efficient manner.

I am very pleased with Umbrella movers. Kathryn was very professional and communicated with me well. She called to make sure of the set times and assured me that if we were late or had any problems, to just let her know and she would work with us. The movers were great as well, they were very professional and careful with the items being moved (not that my stuff was in perfect condition anyway)! and asked where we would like everything placed. I would highly recommend Umbrella movers and would use them again!! They made our move in process a whole lot nicer!! = )

I used Umbrella Movers 2 man unload team and those guys were great. First they were early and eager to work. Second they knew exactly what they were doing and wasted no time getting the job done. Third the two men worked great together and made a perfect moving team. They even offered me one of their drinks on the hot hot day. I would highly recommend Umbrella Movers to anyone.

I moved from Denver to Las Vegas over Summer of 2011. They arrived on time, were prepared for the job and even finished ahead of schedule. It was over 100 degrees that afternoon, and they worked diligently from start to finish. The two guys from Umbrella Movers were AMAZING! They unloaded my moving truck and placed everything according to the labels on my boxes, before being asked. They even put together my and my Son's beds and arranged my furniture as I requested. I was very please with their professionalism and would totally use this company again in my next move.
