Relocation with PROMOVE
Your experienced movers are mostly Actors, Singers, Musicians and Artists supplementing our income. On time, efficient, careful & courteous. Never a "stairs fee" or any hidden fees. We strive to provide 5 star service on every move. We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. Azar and Courtney were very friendly, professional, and efficient moving items from the truck and up two flights of stairs. They accomplished in two hours what would have taken me an entire afternoon. If you are questioning whether to use movers or not, their efforts made the answer a definite yes.

They were prompt and on time but moved very slowly and was clear they were just trying to bump up my rate. There were at least 4 instances where I have perfect view of the truck and they were not at the truck nor were in my apartment for up to 10 minutes at a time.
Other than that, I will say they laird excellent attention to detail, the truck was packed well, and they were mostly professional but honestly I would rate them as a bit lazy as they just didn’t really want to work that hard. Zero sense of urgency and honestly quite frustrating.

Courtney and his team were great. It was raining and they took so much care to not put anything down outside so that nothing got wet and they thought to lay down a cloth to wipe their feet before entering the PODs as to not bring water into the container. Courtney also went with my husband to go buy straps to secure all the stuff. We paid for the straps but he went to ensure that we bought the right thing. I was a little nervous about using this service because you never know who comes but they were really great and professional.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then more experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Ken) have advanced training for loading moving vans.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
