I had an exceptional experience with Promove when moving my son’s one-bedroom apartment in NYC. The two movers, Azar and Courtney, were absolutely phenomenal! They arrived on time, displayed utmost professionalism, and handled the job with incredible skill. Watching them pack the 10-foot truck was like witnessing a master Tetris game—they strategically arranged and rearranged furniture to maximize space, fitting everything perfectly.
Hired for two hours, they completed the job in just 1 hour and 20 minutes, working efficiently without cutting corners. Their attention to detail was impressive; they even laid down moving blankets to protect items from touching the ground during loading. I’m beyond impressed with their care and expertise and will never attempt a DIY move again. What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile and very expensive medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then our most experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Kirk) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
