We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. Really appreciated working with Eric and Kevin. They were very polite and handled two flights of stairs and some very heavy furniture fantastically.
My only note to ProMove: let customers indicate the number of stairs. I noticed when booking this wasn't an option unlike other providers. That may have something to do with ProMove not charging for additional stairs, which I do appreciate. However, it wasn't clear if Eric and Kevin were aware of that going into the job and I would have appreciated the movers having a heads up what was in store.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile and very expensive medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then our most experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Kirk) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
