Lumpkin Enterprises Inc, a family based business that started in 2009 . We are a fast paced, well experienced, insured full service moving company. We have been in business for over 10 years and we've also completed well over 10,000 jobs within a 10 year time frame. Our goal is to provide a very high quality all around service. The worst move experience of my life - and I have moved many times. They showed up knowing their truck was not big enough and had no back up plan. My husband and I had to rent an additional truck at our own expense. Four workers were supposed to come - only three showed up. They came with out tools and without enough supplies. They took so long to load the trucks that the POD facility was about to close - they asked US to call and ask them to stay open later which they wouldn't. Their solution - it's ok we can wait 'til Monday. Well we couldn't. We had to break up the three man crew and one of them went to begin the unload process - While the POD facility was helpful this was a nightmare. They were not able to finish on that day so we had to leave our stuff in two U-haul trucks on the street in front of our house that we had just moved out of. It took the movers 10+ hours to move us out of our home, plus another 4 hours to finish the load in of the PODS the next day. Which delayed the date of our PODS leaving and therefore arriving in our new room. Additionally they ran out of supplies and on top of charging $500+ for pads and wrapping they didn't wrap half of my furniture. When our stuff reached our new home - the amount of furniture damaged was extensive. This stuff is valuable to us. Their complete disregard for our furniture and our items was disappointing. They had also stated they would strap our stuff in the pods (charged me for the straps)...there were only 2 straps in 4 POD containers. When the pods were opened things had toppled over. They placed my clearly labeled fragile boxes on top of one another with no regard for size and weight. HONESTLY A TERRIBLE MOVE.

An all around professional experience.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
A customer should have (if not ordered) Moving blankets, shrink wrap, etc. Also Customers should have all breakable items removed from dressers, night stands etc.
What types of moves have you handled?
We’ve handled Local, Long distance, commercial moves, office moves, debree removal, load swaps etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is being faced with a strenuous task and completing that task in the presence of a customer.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training process is basically hands on experience. We have a written format on how we typically load truck. We have our movers study this format until it becomes second nature.
