Both guys worked very hard and did extra wrapping with the shrink wrap as needed. Nice and very informative with information pertaining to the furniture. They were prepared with necessary tools to assist in the loading of furniture. Both PODS were loaded and we realized another one was needed. They assisted with options and were very friendly. I could not have been more pleased with minutemen movers!!! The two young men were personable, respectful, hard working and very professional. They called to say that they were on their way, walked through the house to get perspective on what needed to be moved and were extremely careful when moving each item. They moved the items into a pod and I feel very confident that the items were wrapped carefully and were secured down with moving straps! It was like putting together a puzzle! They did not waste a minute and finished early.

We were so pleased with the crew of two young men that helped move my daughter across town. They were well prepared, punctual, accommodating to extra requests, hardworking, had positive attitudes, were inventive when tackling unexpected problems, worked very well with each other and even finished ahead of schedule. There was good communication with the parent company also. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any friend looking for this service. They were wonderful and made an anxiety filled day extra smooth!!

They did a great job getting the truck almost all packed in the 2 hour time frame we hired them for, we also fit SO much more in our truck because of their packing expertise. We were really thankful to have them.

Pete and Jonathan were amazing!! They worked nonstop and got our 5 bedroom house packed in just unser 4 hours. The truck was packed so well nothing shifted or broke for our cross country move. I highly recommend them. I appreciated their amazing skills and dedication to their job!

The two men called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way, and when they arrived, they were on time! Both of the men were very hard workers, courteous, and professional. The way they packed my U-Haul van was outstanding. Nothing was broken and everything arrived in one piece! They were very careful not to dirty rugs or carpets, something I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Cody and Juan to everyone!

They're super friendly and got right to work and worked very fast. Their speed may be part of the pitfall for my review as well. While I was satisfied with their speed, it was disappointing that I reserved 4 hours and they finished in 2 and I only got 1 hour refunded back. I get it, it's their policy and it's on their page before you book them but then it's kind of disingenuous to say you have a "2 hour minimum" when you really mean, "2 hour plus 75% of whatever you book". The bigger issue we had was there was still a lot of little things left in the house like lamps, small tvs etc that we could have utilized that 3rd hour I paid for packing and clearing out. But the most disappointing thing was the next morning when I tried to open the first pod (we were just loading our house into 2 pods for storage) to verify if something was packed in there before it was picked up, I couldn't open the door. I spent a good hour and a half pushing things away from the door that fell so I could open the door enough to see that 2 bins of breakables had fell over because they were placed in a bad spot on top of a couch that was in there sideways vertically. Now I get things move when you move but this was before the pod was picked up so it hadn't moved yet and it was just the way it was packed. That and there was a bike tight up against a couch and when I had to pull out the couches and bins to repack them, saw that oil from the bike chain had rubbed off on the couch. We lost about $150 worth of Party Lite items that broke but more frustrating than that was me having to repack the front third of that pod when I pad them to do that right the first time. Next time I'll just do it myself.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
A customer can expect a call from one of our booking agents to confirm the move and go over additional details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A customer can expect a call from the crew lead an hour prior from the arrival window to confirm the move. Once the crew arrives, they will do a walk thru to ensure the move is completed in an efficient manner and will stay until excused from the customer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To ensure the move goes as smoothly as possible it is best to plan accordingly. Have furniture pads, stretch wrap and straps/rope ready for the movers to use if you are providing. Book elevators in advance so the movers don't have to wait.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled, local, long distance and office moves in the past.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Making the customer's life as easy as possible. We pride ourselves in being able to provide premium moving services to all of our customers.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We undergo 2 weeks of training where we will put a trainee with an experienced crew lead before being trusted to work alongside another individual.
