Omg! Freaking horrible movers!!!! They were so slow! Took forever! Vapped outside constantly. They brought the smallest dolly ever! Then kept saying things won’t fit! Then they made things fit but didn’t wrap anything... shoved things in. I provided plenty of moving blankets and stretch wrap and they used hardly anything! They seemed clueless. Lost the rope I provided so had to use twine at the end. The tv and picture boxes that I said were very fragile they shoved in with things on top that shifted during drive! I haven’t unloaded truck yet but I’m thinking tv didn’t survive and not sure about other stuff. Will know tomorrow. I’m so freaking upset and scared all my stuff is broken!!!! Jesse and Adam were horrible!!!!!!!!!!! Never use them!!! ?? I’ll let you know if things are broken!

I was impressed with the moving experience that both of these gentlemen had. In addition they were courteous and professional. To sum it all up... your getting a lot more than than just a couple of strong backs. You simply let them know what you want moved... and it gets done right.

This was my second time using Hire a Helper and the movers were with a company called Elite.
A few things to note.. the two guys showed up about 30 mins. Late and didn’t speak English. They also had no tools nor a dolly.
Having said that, they worked hard, they were accommodating, and the company’s customer service was outstanding. The operations manager apologized for the mishaps and took care of us in the end. I would use them again!

Everything sent generally ok. One mover decided to leave upon arrival so we were a man down the whole time but the manager called and said he’d make up for it, which he did by extending our prepaid time. The only other issue was that I asked them specifically to be very careful with two pieces of furniture, a brand new dresser and crib. And one guy tried to tip over the dresser alone and ended up snapping the leg off the dresser. I reached out to the manager via email and didn’t hear a single thing back. Frustrating. At the end of the day I couldn’t have done the move alone so I’m very grateful for the help
