Kevin and Thomas were fantastic, easily the best movers I've worked with. They were polite, fast, packed the truck really well, and wasted no time at all. They arrived with all of the pads, dollies and handcarts they needed and even took apart a bed for me that we weren't moving.
Money well spent, and I would hire them again without hesitation. They will be my first call for my next move.

Our helpers (Kevin and Darius) informed us when they were on their way and arrived on time. They came prepared with tools, furniture pads, and the necessary supplies. They were extremely hard workers and very accommodating. They made sure to respect the hard wood floors when building furniture and were friendly and courteous. I would definitely hire them again!

Get a Move On did a great job with helping me unload my heavy furniture. They were on time and prepared and before the date of my unload I was contacted and consulted several times to ensure we were on the same page and my expectations would be met. Both gentlemen that helped me were professional and courteous as well as very friendly. They met all my expectations and were a huge help. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely great!! They arrived right on time, started work immediately, and worked straight through for 3 hours to load my ABF trailer. Hot, humid and some really heavy items but they went through it quickly. Brought everything needed to keep my goods safe and secure. I have made many moves while working in the Army (retired Major and retired GS15) but these guys were hands-down the very best. I highly recommend them to anyone who is moving. You won't regret it.

Kevin was attentive, prompt, and committed to our satisfaction. You get his cell number to ask any questions and he will update you on time frame often so that you can coordinate exactly with your other services. I'd highly recommend this team!
Our move was an ABF UPack truck into an apartment on the first floor. They brought appropriate and new-looking dollies and carts, worked hard and fast, were considerate about placement of our items in the new place, and just generally were all the things you would want in moving labor help. Choose them!

Pros: Kevin and his crew arrive shortly after the scheduled time (he did call ahead and let me know that he was running late). It was a late June Saturday and was very hot. They all worked very hard and the heat did not slow them down. They brought plenty of moving pads and straps.
Cons: I am glad that I had a couple extra weeks to unpack before writing my review. My only regret is that I did not pay attention to the packing of the truck. Even though there were plenty of pads some of the items were still scratched. I should have been more involved in the packing. One more note for the self movers; plastic wrap does not protect anything....you need a pad..!
In the end would I still use them?...yes. The hard work and get it done attitude was great but I think I as the home owner I should have had paid more attention in the loading of the truck.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call in the morning and an experienced crew to pack/load/unload your belongings.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Since we are paid by the hour anything to make the job go quicker; break down beds, take shelves out of China Hutch, legs off tables, shades/ light bulbs from lamps etc. We have no problem doing all these things though.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved clients all over the country, done many office jobs, transported entire household or just a few things.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and seeing the stress leave customers faces after they realize we know what we are doing!
What training do you provide your crew members?
We take new crew members on jobs @ no extra cost and train them to be the best. We also have them watch multiple moving videos on YouTube.
