Kevin and the guys from Get A Move On, were awesome! Kevin contacted me in a timely manner to confirm the moving services, what supplies I might need, the items being moved, the location, etc. He contacted me again the day prior to the move to reconfirm and make sure there were no changes. He and his guys were on time and ready to work the day of the move. They knew that I had items going to storage and items going to the house. They did a great job of loading them in the truck accordingly and so I could get the items off at the correct location and in the order of the stops being made. There were only a few bags that didn't make it into storage on the original stop. They busted their butts to get everything loaded and so far, nothing has been broken. I would definitely hire Kevin and his guys again! If you hire them, make sure you're ready for them, because they come ready to work! :)

I do not typically write reviews for what I consider good service, only bad service, but I was so impressed with this moving company, that I had to take a moment to share my experience. I was extremely leery about what moving company to use, as I have heard and read tons and tons of horror stories about terrible movers. I am also a single female and wanted to feel safe about whom I was letting into my home. I did some research online and found Get a Move On. So, I took a chance and submitted a moving labor help request. I coordinated the move with Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic. Once I submitted my request for moving labor help, he called promptly to go over the request and the items that needed to be moved. He called again the day before to confirm the move date and time, and to ensure that he and his team would arrive by the time I had requested. The movers arrived on time, and immediately began to help. Kevin even parked the u-haul truck so it was in the most beneficial position to make the move as seamless as possible. They were very professional and friendly, and experts at what they do. The truck was packed with care and very organized. I even had a neighbor stop by while unloading the truck and they mentioned how neatly the truck had been packed. In fact, NO items were broken or damaged! They also moved a chair to the dumpster at my apartment complex that I no longer wanted and had planned to throw away on my own. They were very efficient and moved all the items I needed moved in one hour. I was so impressed with them and would recommend them to anyone. I only wish they could have unloaded the truck, but I moved out of state. Thanks Guys!

They stepped in at the last minute to cover another team that never showed up. They showed up on time (even called to tell me they were running early), which was greatly appreciated. They were professional, patient and completed the unload with the minimum of stress.
They had a dolly to assist with the unload and tools to put together my furniture.
They took care of my belongs and the walls and floors of my home, they were great!
I would recommend and use them for future moves!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
I will call to discuss your moving needs.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call in the morning and an experienced crew to pack/load/unload your belongings.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Since we are paid by the hour anything to make the job go quicker; break down beds, take shelves out of China Hutch, legs off tables, shades/ light bulbs from lamps etc. We have no problem doing all these things though.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved clients all over the country, done many office jobs, transported entire household or just a few things.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and seeing the stress leave customers faces after they realize we know what we are doing!
What training do you provide your crew members?
We take new crew members on jobs @ no extra cost and train them to be the best. We also have them watch multiple moving videos on YouTube.
