When my Pod got delivered early I called to see if they could start ahead of time. No Problem" was the response.Two guys unloaded a 16' pod and a 10' truck in less than two hours. Fast, friendly, efficient, and careful with my stuff. They get the highest recommendation from me!

Were they on time? Yes, they were on time

Were they prepared for the job? Not really. I asked for my couches to be wrapped and even mentioned it again when they called to follow-up and the movers showed up without the wrapping.

Did they work hard? The work was pretty steady

Were they respectful of your property and goods? Not as much as I would have liked them to be. I provided wrapping for the couches and they did not use it. They broke a lamp which wasn't a big deal, except they didn't tell me about it and they also put two pretty deep gouges in the hardwood floor (which also wouldn't have been that big of a deal had they just mentioned it).

Would you use them again? Probably not. I understand things happen when you move. Something will always get broken (as a military guy with over 9 moves in 21 years, I know this). I'm just a big believer in integrity and if you mess something up, just own up to it and move on. For the price that I paid for these services ($600+), I would not use them again.

One thing I will mention for full disclosure…I did not address any of these issues with the company. By the time I found out about the broken lamp, gouged floors, and unwrapped couches, it was too late. I just chalked it up as a lessoned learned to not use them again. The only reason I am writing this review is because they have emailed me twice, asking me to do so (maybe a be careful what you ask for moment).

Joey, I want to First say I apologize for any issues that were not brought up during the move. I will be sure to address all issues you had with each worker that was on that job. That is something that we always make sure, that all the workers know, if something happens to address any issue upfront immediately. I will for sure make sure that if all is true with your review that these issues will be corrected immediately. We strive to make every move and every customer completely satisfied everytime.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Our customers will get a call from one of our staff to confirm there details of their move and to introduce ourselves as the moving company that will be doing the move for them. We will make sure we help figure the absolute best route to help our customer be fully prepared move day to save them time and money on their move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

They can expect us to show up to there home or place that we are doing work at for them, to prove our 5 ?? services. The can feel confident that our company and the people that work for the company take great pride in the work they do. Our movers will be fully prepared and trained to all give 5 ?? services to them.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

There’s many things that can be done to help the move go smooth, safe, efficient which will help the cost of the move significantly. Having as many things properly labeled and boxed up as possible, in similar size boxes to help reduced boxes being damaged. Having the closes and properly paved surface/path for a truck or container to back into safely to load or unload customers contains. The less steps we take to get to the truck or container will sure help cut the time down.

We offer and have done all types of moves such as: RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL, LONG DISTANCE MOVING, LABOR ONLY SERVICES FOR LOADING CUSTOMERS TRUCKS OR PORTABLE CONTAINERS, IN-HOUSE MOVING, JUNK HAUL AWAY, FLAT RATE MOVES, PACKING SERVICES, PER PIECE MOVES, OVERSIZED PIECE MOVES.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of doing our job as a mover is the satisfaction of getting out there in society and helping all different types of people with their moving needs. We take a ton of satisfaction in helping our customers move their furniture and items they can’t move or don’t want to move. The other plus is that it’s a gym membership that you get paid to do which is a huge plus to us ????????

What training do you provide your crew members?

We put our guys through a very detailed orientation training process to help them fully understand the way E&J Moving likes to do things. We have a training course that goes into safety for themselves with how properly lift items and different ways to move furniture properly. We also have safety courses that go through measures we have in place to protect our customers dwelling and belongings. We also have our guys trained in how to efficiently, quickly and safely get through each move safe and efficient.
