I hired three helpers for 3 hours. They were late arriving but it was due to being delayed on their previous job. They were prepared and worked like demons. I had 11 pallets to unload and place in a storage unit. I had originally secured a 10x15 storage unit. As they were loading items in it, it became apparent that if I used that unit I would have no room to move or get things out of the unit. So I decided that I needed a 10x30 unit. They not only relocated the four pallets already unloaded to the smaller unit, but were able to finish the other 7 pallets in 2 1/2 hours. The young man in charge was called LaVon, but I don't remember the other two men with him but they all worked steadily and cleaned up after themselves. They handled my items with care and any damage they discovered to items, they pointed out to me before they ever removed them from the pallet. I will definitely use them again and will try to get the same group.

E&J Cleanouts did an outstanding job for us in STL.
Lets face it, ...no one likes moving. It is just plain terrible. But, for us, E&J removed all of our stress and worry. They arrived EARLY. And they ended up staying 3 hours past the time we ordered, because they finished the job. We had to complete the loading of the trailer and not one of them complained once.
We ordered 3 people, and ALL 3 worked so hard the entire 6 hours.
They respected our belongings, they protected everything with bubble wrap and shrink wrap and blankets. They brought supplies and a dolly. ALL 3 men were super nice, friendly and trustworthy. By the end, we were all friends. We even tipped them each $40 bucks even though it is not required. They busted their bumms up and down stairs, and they loaded the trailer strategically and orderly because they knew that we were paying for space on the trailer. They packed it professionally all the way to the top and sides without one inch left to spare.
E&J made our life so much easier and it was so worth the modest cost through hireAhelper.com.
We chose E&J because of other reviews. The reviews I read were 100% accurate...
every word and compliment. They lived up to every good review we read. We have not one single complaint about any of the 3, or their work. We just cannot say enough good about the work they did for us. It took longer than we thought, but that was our fault because we had too much stuff after 16 years living in same house.
These men never took a break, nor a lunch or dinner break despite us telling them to break.
They were so nice and good at their job we bought them dinner, tipped them each well and gave them some of our items we did not need like a Pioneer Stereo, A Vizio TV...they were grateful.
These people dont get paid much for the amount of painstaking work they do.
So, choose E & J and tip them well. You cannot go wrong by using them. The owner, Eric, called me prior to their arrival asking if they could come earlier. Eric was professional and reliable. Any issues, we were sure he would have taken care of it. But, we had no issues whatsoever.
Now, we only have to worry that we will get a crew in Florida to unload who are as incredible as our E&J STL crew was.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Our customers will get a call from one of our staff to confirm there details of their move and to introduce ourselves as the moving company that will be doing the move for them. We will make sure we help figure the absolute best route to help our customer be fully prepared move day to save them time and money on their move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect us to show up to there home or place that we are doing work at for them, to prove our 5 ?? services. The can feel confident that our company and the people that work for the company take great pride in the work they do. Our movers will be fully prepared and trained to all give 5 ?? services to them.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
There’s many things that can be done to help the move go smooth, safe, efficient which will help the cost of the move significantly. Having as many things properly labeled and boxed up as possible, in similar size boxes to help reduced boxes being damaged. Having the closes and properly paved surface/path for a truck or container to back into safely to load or unload customers contains. The less steps we take to get to the truck or container will sure help cut the time down.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part of doing our job as a mover is the satisfaction of getting out there in society and helping all different types of people with their moving needs. We take a ton of satisfaction in helping our customers move their furniture and items they can’t move or don’t want to move. The other plus is that it’s a gym membership that you get paid to do which is a huge plus to us ????????
What training do you provide your crew members?
We put our guys through a very detailed orientation training process to help them fully understand the way E&J Moving likes to do things. We have a training course that goes into safety for themselves with how properly lift items and different ways to move furniture properly. We also have safety courses that go through measures we have in place to protect our customers dwelling and belongings. We also have our guys trained in how to efficiently, quickly and safely get through each move safe and efficient.

We refund up to one unused hour over our min..

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
