So my move was a pain from the beginning. Downsizing a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment and cramming all that in a 16' pod was fun. Mike and his crew from Mach1 were in communication via text as soon as they were hired. Given the size of the move and distance from pod to pad, he asked if they could start at 7:30am. Yes, sir, you may. Mike shows up with 2 guys at 7:30 on the dot and they get rolling. I have to check out of the hotel so I leave them to it. Come back 45 minutes later and he's called in 3 more helpers and they're almost done unloading the pod. Seriously these guys MOVED! Prices are totally reasonable and everyone was so friendly. Definitely recommend Mike and the Mach 1 team.

I have only good things to say about the crew that came to unload my PODS container. They were good communicators and worked with me in terms of arrival time, worked super hard and fast while they were here and were very careful with my stuff. They made a point of putting things where I wanted them, always asking where I wanted such and such a thing to go. I would absolutely use them again.

Mike, Michael and Bruce were tremendous. Due to circumstances outside of their control they were a bit late getting to the house, but they gave us an early heads up, were in constant communication until they got there, and provided an extra helper for free to help make up time. Once on site they were fast and knowledgable. This was our first time moving with a U-Pack trailer, and I was relieved that they had worked with them many times and knew just how to pack our stuff to avoid breakage and minimize the linear feet of space used (which is how U-Pack charges for shipping). It was something to behold - they packed it to the ceiling like a Tetris game, restrained everything with ratchet straps, and wrapped our furniture as well. (I provided the packing materials.) I also goofed and completely forgot to point out a few additional boxes and a futon in the garage and they took it in stride and made it work. Overall just great guys - friendly, smart, and hardworking. I'd hire them again in an instant.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Expect us to contact you within 24 hours via text, unless we have questions or concerns; then we'll call you to verify your information about your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Expect a call or text confirming we are en route to your location. Once we arrive and introduce ourselves, we'll do a walk through of what you want to get done. Upon completing the walk through we'll get busy moving, however we will asked questions along the way and keep you informed of any issues as they arise.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?

What types of moves have you handled?
We handle, truck and container loading and unloading. We also do local, long distance and specialty moves. We have pros who also pack boxes and crate specialty pieces.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?

What training do you provide your crew members?
If they have zero experience. We have them shadow a Sr. Team leader for a month, then a field manager for another month, before having this person as a 3rd, 4th or 5th member of a crew for 3 months. Experienced movers will spend the first 2 months just learning our way of doing things and handling clients.
