Melancon Moving And Freight Services is a family-owned and operated business, with over 21 years of experience, that provides moving labor services to load and/or unload your moving truck or POD. In addition, we also provide packing services, as well as pre and post-move cleaning of homes and apartments, for an extra charge. Our company services all of central Illinois, including; Decatur, Springfield, Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Lincoln, Clinton, Taylorville, and Mattoon. We look forward to providing you with a professional moving experience. Please Note: 1) We do charge an extra $25.00 per job/per location, for any flights of stairs past the second floor (unless there is an elevator that can be utilized). 2) Anything more than a 3-Man team requires a minimum of 72 hours notice. 3) We are unable to accept any job if we have not been able to make contact with the customer after two (2) attempts, in order to discuss the details of the move, even if our schedule is open for that particular date.

Doug, his son & Cyrus were extremely pleasant & efficient. Even tho my Pod was a mess from me trying to pack it myself, they were able to straighten it out. Pack it properly, get the things in I couldn't do all in under the 2 hours alotted. They were very kind. I deffinetly will be using them when it comes time to unpack my Pod when I find a new place to live. Yes I most definitely will recommend them to anyone I know needing their services. Made my hectic day much pleasantries.
