DMV was hired to unload 5 items from a truck. On the day of the move, I was getting mixed messages about their arrival time. My calls and texts went unanswered from the DMV contact person. The movers arrived over 30 minutes after the arrival window ended and were in a rush to complete the work to get back on schedule. The two movers were nice.

I hired this crew to load two U-Pack containers, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. They packed everything so efficiently that all of my belongings fit perfectly into the two containers with zero wasted space on the first try. Highly professional, skilled, and efficient. I would gladly hire them again.

Unprofessional. Had no idea how to do the job. Only one competent worker and three new guys who were a train wreck. I had to ask one worker multiple times to use paper or bubble wrap for our glassware. He would fill a large box with glass and put heavy stuff on top w/o using any of the provided packing paper. I finally had to unpack a box so he would do it right. Another worker asked to drink or have some of my alcohol, another had a girlfriend in his car (pretty sure he showed up high) and took multiple breaks including running her to the store - which meant I had to pay for an extra hour since he and another worker (the guy who couldn’t pack kitchen items right) were extremely slow. One worker broke a lamp, and another packed a lamp (that I asked to be packed carefully) into a box with a heavy metal item on top of it. I gave each a sharpie and gave them explicit directions on how to label the boxes to make it easy when we move into the next house. They ignored that and didn’t label any boxes, which meant I had to open and relabel EVERY box. I asked them to move some boxes from the upstairs to the downstairs and that meant they threw them down the stairs without any regard for my belongings. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a service, and I’m pretty reasonable. I bought them lunched and still tipped. There was one worker - can’t remember his name - who was very professional and hardworking. He’s the only reason I didn’t give them a 1 star. Also, I reached out to their point of contact to figure out how to be compensated for my broken lamp, but he/she did not respond. I’m expecting many items to be broken when we get to our new house. Avoid at all costs.
