We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. We specialize in everything from small households, to warehouses, to antiques and priceless pieces of art, upright and grand pianos, and everything in between. Our main goal is customer satisfaction, in addition we are non smokers so were not taking any unnecessary breaks, we get in there and get the job done as safely and as swiftly as possible. We've used Ogre Man Mover for both moving in and moving out. They are on time, and efficient! They work quickly and are very friendly. They took great care of the furniture and were aware of their surroundings inside the apartment. I've used them twice now, and would use them again! Great guys!

The guys were nice and helpful, however, the variation in how they treated our furniture was kind of puzzling. We had blankets, plastic wrap, etc. available for all large furniture pieces. I know that freight tends to cause more damage than other methods, but I bet it wouldn't cause as much to furniture that was protected in ANY way!
Our dining table has a giant nick in it because it was put in the truck unprotected.
My bedside table had its leg ripped out, screws and all, because it was not taken apart. Yet my $5 rolling cart was carefully disassembled as well as my crappy $40 coffee bar/sever was wrapped well and protected.
Anyways. I am not going to put this all on them; we were pretty disorganized. They were prompt and courteous and stayed an extra hour to help get all the furniture in the truck. They were prepared and worked hard, I just feel like they were slightly lacking in the careful care department.
But the moving unpackers that we hired at our destination had a little extra oomph I felt the Ogre Men were lacking.

Jeremy and Quian provided exemplary service along with the rest of OgreMan! I had to reschedule my move last minute to a new address and Dave was very responsive and helped coordinate the change. On the day of the move, they called ahead to let me know how far out they were, arrived at the set time frame with hand trucks, and were very courteous and professional. They completed my move in under the allotted time and worked hard to complete the job in a timely and safe manner. They handled my items with care even up three flights of stairs. Will absolutely use again and highly recommend their services.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
