Eric & Gus were a little late, but, hey, it's Chicago traffic,
and we were in no hurry anyway.
The previous day, we had loaded up boxes and stuff we could carry, but when the guys got there, they rearranged everything for a tighter, better move. They said that they were very good at Tetris. They were. They wrapped everything that needed shrink, and tied everything together in the POD.
They took a little longer than the two hours, but it would have taken us much longer, especially down three flights of apartment stairs. I'm Dad, moving my daughter, and it was the best money I ever spent. Much better than giving it to a chiropractor.
Everything went so smoothly, we actually got to leave a day earlier than expected.

We were very impressed with Coffey Bros service. Jose and Jose proved to be a hard working team. They showed up, asked for an overview, and got to work! They packed the POD so well that we had much more room than we originally thought we would. We were very impressed with them and said to eachother (multiple times) "we can't imagine making this move without their help". Great work - highly recommend!

Hired two guys for two hours to help me clear out a storage unit and pack it in a truck. They arrived on time, were courteous and respectful. They completed the job quickly and were very nice.

I was very impressed with how quickly and efficiently they did there work, what I thought would take at least 3 or 4 hours they did in 2 starting a few min.s early and working even a little past the agreed upon window of time. I found both men to be very polite and repectful of my home and items being moved and would use this service again and recommend it to anyone. From start to finish there was no slow down of work, calls or txt being done, it was a work ethic I wish I could see out there more often from other companies.

They did an excellent job. On time, very efficient... Very good at taking advantage of ALL the space to load everything. Were done in no time at all. Would use again in a heart beat.

During the move I thought things were perfect. Items and boxes were moving smoothly out to the truck. I was concerned that everything would not fit on the 22' truck, but they assured me I was wrong.
When we came down to the last 5 or 6 feet of the truck I was told that there probably wasn't enough room. The tough part about this was that our choices were limited without unpacking the truck to remove items that were loaded early. Because of this we had to give a very nice 26' refrigerator, my bicycle, and some small furniture to the scrap dealer that was waiting to see what they could scavenge.
When we were unpacking the truck, it turned out that only a few of the furniture pads that I had rented at their request had been used, and that almost all of my wood furniture had abrasions and scratches because they were packed without the protection of the pads.

The movers, once they arrived, everything went superfast. So for this alone, I should rate them 5 star. The problem was the arriving. I made the appointment some days in advance for 8AM. The person at the reservation desk called me after to tell me that the 8AM spot is no longer available, at which point I was ready to ask some other company, but he told me that he can move things around so that 8AM would still be ok. Of course, that was just a trick in the end, because it really wasn't, the movers showed up 1.5 hours late. For this reason, I will not use their services in the future. The least they could have done was to call me one hour prior to 8AM to tell me they were running late, but they didn't.

I used Coffey Bros to load my storage container. The movers were 30 minutes late, however, they called an hour before to let me know. Overall, the 2 gentlemen did a great job and finished everything in 90 minutes. They took time to take down the bedframes and dining room table. I will use them again when I need to unload my storage container.
