Great job! On time and went right to work. Would recommend Nick and Mike very highly.

I scheduled them a couple weeks ahead of time and did not make any changes to the time we needed the help. They gave me a 1 hour time from of 2-3pm in case they were running late from another job. They ended up not showing up until 5pm although they did communicate with me what was going on. I ended up reducing the hours I needed them from 3 hours down to 2 and the company I booked them through gave me a 5% discount for each hour they were late which was nice. I ended up emptying half the truck of smaller items and boxes myself. .When they did arrive they were apologetic and very professional. They worked quickly but safely. They finished emptying the truck in 50 minutes. I understand that things do happen and it seems that the person that booked them before me may not have been as accurate with what they had to move. I really do not hold the helpers at fault as they did call me 3 times to keep me updated. I would use them again in the future.

Nick and Matt did a great job helping me with my move. They were on time, and worked really fast. I especially liked the way they wrapped my furniture since it will be going into storage. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

QUESTION BACKGROUND CHECKING AND BEING INSURED AND BONDED!
Had my jewelry stolen by 1 of 4 workers (who now sits in jail for pawning a piece). Was told by owner they were not bonded and another worker stated they were. However after texting owner with regards to filing a claim I have not heard from him. Now I know there are "bad apples" in every place of business, and the company's 2nd anchorage worked diligently to get my jewelry return (2 of the 4 workers were fired immediately), which they were able to get 2 of the 4 pieces back. However thief pawned my necklace and was arrested for it. Tried texting owner with regards to filig a claim and have yet to hear back. The item still missing is my diamond wedding band, which is non replaceable. I also paid a rate of 3 people for unloading and the 2nd in charge, spent a couple of hours going to retrieve 2 of my 3 rings and spent a lot of time with police, however --I do not feel I should pay for time to get back what was stolen from me by the employee and requested reimbursement for that time. I have yet to hear back from owner. Owner was very concerned and cooperative, but don't feel I can trust him based on his statement as to if they were bonded. 2nd incharge was SUPER at trying to recover my items --but I feel I was made to feel guilty if I posted a bad review because of the things that transpired. I held off posting this review in hopes my items would be returned or found and when I sent owner text and stated I needed to file a claim and my desire to be comped for cost of unloading my move ( 2 instead of 3), I have never heard back from him, nor have I heard a peep from anyone else. I spent A LOT of money on using this company, I fed the workers on the day they loaded and gave great tips to them all to only have my things stolen and no response. I will be interested to see how filing a claim (which won't cover the appraisal value of my wedding band) is handled through Hire A Helper.

They were a little behind on schedule, but called more than an hour before to let us know that they were running late and gave a new arrival time. It was no problem (for us) and we appreciated the heads up.
They got to work right away. Both were very polite and seemed to work very well together. They got us out in our allotted time even with a rain storm and a few other hold ups.
We have yet to unload, but they were very careful not to bump any walls and seemed to be handling our belongings carefully. Would definitely use them again.

Two gentlemen showed up on time, were very courteous and welcoming. Got right to work and finished within the alloted time. They were very understanding of our 3 kids running around asking questions and took care to ask where every item and unmarked box should go
