On time, worked hard without stopping, careful and thorough. I showed them what needed to be done one time and they did exactly as I had asked. I will definitely call them again.

Two movers showed at 2:00, when I thought they were coming at 1:00 and two other movers showed at 2:18. I had two 16 food PODs to be loaded.
I told the movers I wanted to tackle the garage first since it was the most difficult and ensure the furniture was loaded. I assured them my husband and I could handle the boxes.
It was felt they knew better and started loading the boxes and furniture. They were moving quickly until they went to load the second POD. The supervisor asked me for a rug in my living room and felt kind for their hard work. Should have waited. Afterwards, the supervisor in particular started to work slower and was more negative and at 4:40; said out loud 20 more minutes. There was no question on purchasing additional time. At this point they started to just get anything they could to put into the PODS. After 20 minutes; there were at least 20 items still in the garage with no place to put them.
I wanted to cry and felt taken advantage. Two of the workers looked sorry, but the supervisor had an attitude of just pay me so we can get out of here. My husband and I spent the next three hours taking the stuff thrown in the last 20 minutes and properly stacked and got everything in the PODs by 8:00 p.m. I would never hire the supervisor again. Friendly, till they get what they want. The other worker actually asked for our TV. The payment process is also needs to be reworked.
I cancelled my second order with them. PODs needs to get new referrals.

They were great! They arrived on time and got done with time to spare. It was fast and efficient. They were very careful with all our bigger items and got the POD secured so the load wouldn't shift. I am very happy.

I have never had anyone to be so kind and accommodating to making my move so calming. I have used other companies and not one has made it as pleasant as this company. They did the packing and I feel comfortable that when I reach my destination I will be happy with the way they had packed. I am very comfortable with Hire A Helper who has accommodated me as well I most definitely pass the word about being treated like family with no hidden costs.

The job was scheduled for between 8 and 9 am. They showed up at 9:50, saying they were stuck in traffic. They should account for that when leaving for the first job of the day.
They then proceeded to say they couldn't get everything packed inot the POD, which they didn't, resulting in my having to load my car up in order to get everything to where I needed to go. I am scared as to what I will find when I unload the POD. Would probably never use this branch again.
