The two men that moved my furniture have a talent for arranging furniture in a moving pod, in a way that enures that it will not move around. They did an impressive job of fitting a lot of furniture in a small space. They even moved a piano down three flights of stairs and made it look almost effortless. The two men also had calm demeanors, which is always appreciated when moving. They seemed confident that they could do the job, and for good reason.

I hired a 3 person team for 2 hours to unload a 16' Penske truck and carry items into a second floor apartment. The weather conditions were extremely hot and very humid. The team worked well together, were very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this service.

I waited a few days to allow my opinions settle a bit before rating my experience as I wanted to be fair. When I booked them and reconfirmed on the phone, I advised them that my furniture was heavy and 3 pieces had granite tops. I explained that I needed help with as much heavy items as possible in the time that I paid and budgeted for which was 2 men, 4 hours. Frank on the phone was great and listened and collected details. I was comfortable. On the day, one of the guys called me to tell me he was running a little late and would be there in 20 min. 40 min. later two gentlemen showed up. One was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. The other guy was very disengaged from the very beginning. It was important to us that they used the drop down bars equipped in our truck to create another "shelf" the length of the trailer if necessary. We wanted the furniture especially on the bottom along with tubs and other boxes on both the top and bottom help prevent crushing and to make the most of the room. Well, that didn't happen, so right off the bat, they didn't follow our instructions. He told me that he'd been doing it for 6 years, etc. I thought that he was the professional, and must know more then me, so I allowed him to do what he recommended. One guy was ok and worked hard, however, he has development opportunities. One of them is not constantly telling us how heavy things were, how he already earned his money after one hour of work, nor how he should talk about other difficult customers that he'd recently encountered. The second guy was obviously not up to the job at all. He was constantly checking his phone and either talking or texting, telling me over and over how this is his second job and how he worked a 12 hour shift last night and how "done" he was because he was tired and how his back hurt. He was totally unprepared in every way. A monetary tip is not something that is required, (although hinted more then once by both of them)...a tip is earned and involves the service itself and the total customer service experience. They were not very professional but on different levels. In summary, did they move the heavy stuff? Yes they did. Did they follow our instructions or actually consult? No, they didn't. After they were done, which we released early mind you, we had to call on friends to help us repack the truck and undo much of what they had done. BTW, Yes, it DID all fit by the time we got done with it and utilized the upper bars that we asked them to do from the very beginning. I was very disappointed. The only reason why I didn't give them 1 or 2 stars is because they did move a lot of the heavy stuff which we asked for, but the amount of rework we had to do was unacceptable. This really put us behind the eight ball in meeting our truck pick up deadline which is not what we expected at all. There were other choices and you were not the least expensive option. I wish I would have selected another company and based on my experience, I would not recommend them.

They were prompt, courteous, paid attention to the details and lent a hand to move things again when we told them to put them in the wrong place to start with! ;-) They arrived before we did and made sure we where satisfied before asking if the job was completed. I would recommend this service and these helpers; and I would ask for them by name if the need arises again!! Thanks "Christian Touch Services" for a job well done.
