Angle and david were great and professional. Best ever. I gave them a cash tip. I would use rigos any time thru hire a helper. Very reliable and on time. Packed carefully and tight for the trip.

Everything was fine until moving day. Book Rigos only if you are prepared for them to change the schedule at the last minute.

I had booked PODS City Service, which meant I had a strict loading window from 2–6 PM. I also booked three movers to arrive between 2–3 PM, and even confirmed this with Rigos on the phone that morning.

About two hours before 2 PM, I got a call saying the movers wouldn’t arrive until around 4:30 PM. I explained that this would not work due to the PODS time limit. After some back and forth, they said they would try to send the movers before 3 PM.

From then on, I had to keep calling every 15–30 minutes for updates. Each time, they reassured me the movers were on the way. No one showed up by 3 PM, then they said 3:30 PM, then 4 PM. During this time, it was also very hard to reach them—most calls (15+) went unanswered.

The movers finally arrived at 4:15 PM. By that point, my girlfriend and I had already started loading the POD ourselves because we were worried it wouldn’t be finished on time.

To be fair, once the movers arrived, they worked quickly and finished loading right at 6 PM. However, the poor communication, constant delays, and broken promises caused a lot of unnecessary stress and felt very unprofessional.

It is never our intention to cause unnecessary stress and we regret that that our communication and scheduling did not meet your expectations. However, our team did inform you regarding the late arrival, two hours before your appointment. Unfortunately emergencies do happen throughout the day and as you can see from our previous reviews, this situation is rare to occur. Despite LA traffic always picking up and constantly hectic, we did our best effort to send a backup crew to your location and we also made sure to keep you updated at all times. We are very glad to hear that the moving crew finished loading the POD on time, given the fact that a lot of your items were still upstairs when our movers arrived. Our crew made sure to get to work right away and finish in an efficient and quick manner.

These guys were on top of things!! We knew our truck would be a tight fit and they packed everything so perfectly we had just the right amount of space for the suitcases we needed to put in the very back of the rental truck. Super polite and efficient and the best moving labor help I've had! I was also happy to see them lifting safely and wearing protective girdles for their sake!! Highly, highly recommend!

My move was scheduled for 7:00 PM, and I received a confirmation text from Martha around 11:00 AM the same day. She suggested moving the time up to 11:00 AM, which was not possible for me. While I understood that 7:00 PM might be late, I was willing to compromise and allow the movers to arrive 1–2 hours earlier.

At 3:30 PM, Martha called and told me the movers had already arrived, which directly contradicted our earlier conversation. She then said she would ask the movers to go to lunch to buy some time. At 4:09 PM, she called again and stated that if I did not allow the movers to start immediately, my move would need to be rescheduled.

This created a lot of unnecessary stress on an already stressful moving day. Because I was rushed and needed extra time to finish packing, the situation ultimately added about $400 to my original cost.

That said, the movers themselves were excellent — professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I have no complaints about the crew at all. Unfortunately, the communication and pressure from Martha significantly impacted the overall experience.

However it was never forced upon you to confirm to change the arrival time. The movers arrived at the arrival time that you agreed to, between 4:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. (they arrived at 4:00 P.M). We never stated that the move will have to be rescheduled if they do not start then, but rather to inform you that the crew had arrived as scheduled. It is never our intention to cause unnecessary stress, and we regret that the timing of the crew's arrival led to both a rushed experience. We take your comments about the coordination and communication from our office seriously and will address this internally to improve our scheduling process. We are very glad to hear, however, that the moving crew was professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with. We will be sure to pass your kind words along to them. What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We are a professional moving company where our clients always come first. Our customers can expect an amazing job outcome by our movers because we are trained and have the proper materials needed for the job.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

Refunding Unused Time

We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.

Face coverings and gloves:
The health of our customers and employees is our top priority We provide Face Mask, Gloves, Hand Sanitizer and any other Safety equipment on every job., (always included, no fee)
Hand tools for assembly:
We provide basic Heavy Duty Tools, (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
We provide a Heavy Duty Hand Truck, (always included, no fee)
Plastic wrap:
We provide plastic wrap for 2-3 furniture items, any additional plastic wrap used will be a $35.21 dollar charge., ($25.00/ea.)
Rope:
We always provide straps to load/unload (we will need them back or a fee will be applied), If is Load only we recommend you to ask about our packing materials prices., ($5.00/ea.)
