It's very difficult to communicate in another language. Customers should be given the option so they can have a translator. Overall items were unloaded fine.

My original moving company I booked through HireAHelper was cancelled because they couldn’t come during my time frame so HireAHelper changed the reservation to Rigos.
Our reservation for Rigos was booked for them to arrive between 2:00-3:00pm for 3 hours to load our city PODS which we had a 4 hour window from 2:00-6:00pm to load. At 2:45pm I called Rigos to see if our movers were on their way and what their ETA was. They called back 10 minutes later saying the movers would be there between 4:30-5:00pm. I told them that was absolutely unacceptable as our PODS was only scheduled to be there til 6:00pm. The movers eventually showed up at 5:00pm, 2-3 hours late. My husband and I had to load all our heavy boxes ourselves from 2:00-3:00pm, my body is SO sore and sweat and tears were shed. When the two movers arrived, they rearranged all our boxes we already loaded into the truck to ultimately fit our furniture we weren’t able to take apart and load ourselves, for that I am thankful. The two guys that did show up were ready to work and were kind, which we didn’t blame them since they weren’t even the scheduled guys who were supposed to be there, they were back up. They were there for 2 hours, ending at 7:00pm.
Also, I had to call HireAHelper multiple times after not receiving phone calls back when they said I should hear by “end of day” and “within the hour”. After 4 days, finally someone contacted me back and refunded me for the extra hour I booked but only had the movers for 2 hours. I had to ASK for a discount since the movers were so late, they refunded 15% for a “tardiness fee”. HireAHelper also charged a $50 service charge.
I would just simply avoid this moving company & HireAHelper at all costs, moving is already stressful enough without all these issues.

We understand the pressure of having to load your items into a POD but unfortunately sometimes we have some delays at our previous jobs due to some jobs taking longer than expected as sometimes clients are not ready for the move, rental truck company or storage delivery company have delay at their end and we can not walk out the job site without completing the job but our dispatcher is always on top of each move to avoid delays but these incidents do occur. We apologize for this inconvenience, we did make sure to send two great movers to assist you with your moving needs.

they didnt finish packing my apartment and i didnt know until i want back to clean. so my dad and i spent an additional 4 hrs packing my apartment. i still have stuff in my car right now. total was 1400+ for them to not complete the job. i was also trying to get an itemized invoice for the job so i can provide it to my employer, which they refused to provide. i told them about my issues and they did not care.

Hello Cherise, we spoke with the supervisor who was in charge of your move and he mentioned to us that your apartment was not ready and you stated to leave the kitchen and some of the items behind. Please do not state false information as your invoice came out to less than $1,020 for 8 hours and packing materials. Regarding the invoice, we provided you two invoices and also told you to feel free to ask for it to be redone.

After a one hour+ drive, they still arrived well within the 1 hour window given to them.They loaded all the boxes, of many different sizes, into their truck in an organized manner. Boxes were not stuffed but rather placed appropriately like someone stacking natural stones together to make a garden wall. The same organized manner was applied to stacking the boxes in the storage unit.

I would hire Jose and Antonio again.

I also learned, based on Rigo's description of number of men and numbers of hours required to compete a job of a certain truck size, that three men working would have been better for me. They probably would have finished almost 2 hours earlier. However, if 90% of your boxes are the same size, then I would hire two movers.

We are a professional moving company where our clients always come first. Our customers can expect an amazing job outcome by our movers because we are trained and have the proper materials needed for the job.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.

Hand tools for assembly:
We provide basic Heavy Duty Tools, (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
We provide a Heavy Duty Hand Truck, (always included, no fee)
Plastic wrap:
We provide plastic wrap for 2-3 furniture items, any additional plastic wrap used will be a $35.21 dollar charge., ($35.21/ea.)
Rope:
We always provide straps to load/unload (we will need them back or a fee will be applied), If is Load only we recommend you to ask about our packing materials prices., ($7.04/ea.)
