The team that came were amazing. They arrived and went right to work. They were able to load the truck in 4 hours to my astonishment. They were professional, friendly and worked diligently the entire time.

the two men who loaded up the POD were quick and organized. They fit everything right to the inch. They were fast, efficient and only took 2 hrs to pack the POD

Rigo’s crew arrived on time but struggled with care, consistency and organization during the move. They did not pack thoughtfully and needed constant supervision and redirection. When the move was over they left trash everywhere including trash from their personal items and empty rolls of tape.
They did however follow directions somewhat well so that was helpful but exhausting to have to constantly oversee their work. They offered no expertise on how to pack items. My husband noted that they did organize the truck well for our out of state move, but that it needed to be reorganized before they left because we had requested our bed to be added last. They did accommodate this request but at an extra cost to us.
Their management was also rude and insisted I pay them directly when the time needed to be extended - even though their agreement with hire-a-helper states that all payments be made through them. Unfortunately this puts into jeopardy the protection coverage that hire-a-helper provides, which I didn’t realize until I had already paid them. If I couldn’t answer their phone call, their manager Martha called multiple times back to back instead of simply leaving a message. She created more stress and chaos. Overall, I can’t recommend this company.
We would like to mention that we sent a professional and experienced crew to your move. This team has consistently received positive feedback from customers and has years of experience handling packing and loading on a daily basis.
Throughout the move, our crew worked hard to accommodate many detailed requests, including extra wrapping, reorganizing items, preparing plants, and adjusting the truck setup multiple times based on changing instructions. As the customer, your preferences were our priority, and the crew adjusted their normal workflow to meet those requests. These additional accommodations did require extra time and labor, which affected the overall timeframe of the move.
Regarding the truck organization, the crew reorganized the load to ensure your bed could be added as requested while still keeping everything secure for the out-of-state transport. The movers also had to wait until the bed became available before they could complete the loading process.
We also apologize if the communication from management came across too strongly. The repeated calls were only made to quickly reach you regarding the extension of time so the move could continue without delays, never to create additional stress.
We do appreciate that you acknowledged the crew followed directions and accommodated your requests throughout the move. We take all feedback seriously and will continue working to improve both our service and communication moving forward.

We used Rigo’s Moving and Storage twice to load three Pods. One time it was at our house with a crew of two people, and the other time at a storage facility with four people. Both times Anthony and the rest of the team arrived when they were supposed to and worked efficiently. They handled the items with care and made sure everything was protected and stable for our cross country move. and he and the entire team of movers (2 the first time, 4 the second time) were Martha in the office was great to communicate with when I had questions about coordination and timing. It was a really smooth and easy experience. 5 stars!

Bad experience. The office staff are dishonest. The crew was several hours late to arrive, the office staff kept lying about that rather than just being honest (at one point the office staff lied and said the movers finally arrived, about 2 hours late, so I walked up and down my apartment complex looking for them for 20+ minutes. The truth was that they were still in a town 40 minutes away completing another move). So they wasted our time and made a stressful day even more stressful.
They were also dishonest about the extra fees, for example I sent them $40 via Zelle for a TV box. The crew forgot to bring it. So my new TV was wrapped in my comforter instead and will probably break. But what was really shocking was that Rigo's refused to refund that $40.
Honestly it is kind of disappointing that PODS would recommend this vendor because they don't meet the level of professionalism I've experienced from PODS over the past 20 years. Anyway, Rigo's was shady, but Hire-A-Helper (that's the company PODS uses to find vendors) felt bad about the whole experience and refunded us out of their pockets because it was so such a disaster.
That being said, I want to be clear that the actual two men, Daniel and Asfalgo, that loaded up our POD were professional and efficient. No issues with them. I hope they find a better place to work.
We also want to clarify that once the issue was identified, we worked to get a crew to your correct location as quickly as possible and communicated updates throughout the process. While the backup crew did not have the specific TV box requested, they did use alternative protective materials, including plastic wrap and padding materials of similar value, to properly secure the TV for transport.
That said, we sincerely appreciate your recognition of Daniel and Asfalgo. We’re glad to hear they were professional, efficient, and provided quality service during the move itself. Their experience and professionalism are a reflection of the growth and training they have developed through our company, and we will absolutely share your feedback with them.

These guys did a fantastic job unloading my upack. Very quick unload with time to spare. They even assembled my furniture. Javier pointed out a missing adjustable bed frame bolt and advised me to take a picture for the replacement. I was impressed with their abilities!

Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.
