The crew showed up right on time. Started straight away after we showed them what was to be packed into the trailer. It took 3 hours over what we estimated, but they continued working till the job was finished. Everything was wrapped well, and put into the trailer with no empty spaces, ensuring a safe move.
Very satisfied with the communication from Rigos office staff also. We had to change the date and they were very kind and helpful arranging it.

Due to the location of my POD they were able to unload and bring my items in a place them in the appropriate location in my apartment. They were very clean and polite.

I'm a single female and hired them to unload two small (8'x7') moving cubes and carry the items to my apartment or garage and to their specific locations since I can't do that alone. They were on time and handled items properly, but their pace was very leisurely. Since they are paid by the hour, and more than 3 hours was not possible for them or me, I was left with a lot of work some of which I was unable to do (moving heavy items to their specific or correct locations, hauling items that were still outside, etc.). It was raining all day, so when they left I said I'd pay the additional hour as soon as I finished hauling the rest of my items in from outside. They insisted I pay immediately and sent the men back. While they sat in their truck waiting, I had to stop hauling the items that were out in the parking lot to go inside to get my phone and pay them with Zelle (because they'd charge extra for using my credit card). I just felt they didn't care about helping and just did the minimal amount required to get paid.

Thank Vera for sharing your experience with us. We apologize that you felt like our movers did not care about helping you. Our team did their utmost to ensure the move was completed to the best of their ability, especially considering the challenging rainy weather that day. I spoke with the movers and they mentioned some factors that unfortunately did contribute to the time. One being the distance from the pack rats to your apartment. Additionally there were cars who were passing so our movers had to be cautious about their surroundings to avoid any collisions. Another factor were the stairs, as well as you mentioning to them that you wanted the items to be taken up one by one because you did not want your furniture to be taken up with the dolly. Our movers did mention to you that the move would take longer since it would be one item at a time. They mentioned you authorized proceeding this way, understanding it would take more time. Due to our policies that you were aware of, we do have to collect payment once we receive a time from our movers when they believe they will complete the service in order to avoid wasting time waiting for the client at the end of the move to collect payment.

This the email we sent to the company regarding the move:

Hello,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to discuss some
concerns that have arisen following our recent move with your company
on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025.

First, I would like to acknowledge that the move itself proceeded
smoothly, and I made every effort to support your team in expediting
the process, especially given the hot weather conditions on that day.

However, upon the unloading of our belongings today, we encountered
two significant issues:

Our new mattress appears to be in an unacceptable condition. It is
visibly filthy, as though it had been dragged across the ground before
being loaded into the POD. I can confirm that this damage did not
occur during the unloading process, as the team at the end destination
only moved the mattress a short distance from the POD to our new home.
We also discovered that the glass surrounding one of our lamps is now
cracked, which was not the case prior to the move.

Given these circumstances, I would greatly appreciate your guidance on
how Rigos Moving & Storage can address and rectify these issues. We
value the overall service provided by your company and hope to find a
satisfactory resolution.

Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. I look
forward to your response and proposed solution. (attached are the
photos to show the damage)

Hello Tuan, thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during the unloading of your belongings. Regarding the mattress, we understand how frustrating this must be, and we genuinely regret the condition it was found in. After speaking with our team, they noted that the mattress was never dragged but the POD itself appeared to be in an unusually dirty state upon arrival (as you can see in the image we attached in the email we sent you), which contributed to the mattress outcome. We also want to clarify that our records show no request for a mattress cover even after we sent our packing materials list, and our team proceeded with loading the mattress based on your direction that it was fine to do so without additional protective covering. As for the lamp, our movers mentioned that it was already damaged before the move and they thought that the reason why you did not request the lamp to be wrapped was for that same reason because you did request for other pieces of your furniture to be wrapped.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.

We provide basic Heavy Duty Tools, (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
We provide a Heavy Duty Hand Truck, (always included, no fee)
Plastic wrap:
We provide plastic wrap for 2-3 furniture items, any additional plastic wrap used will be a $35.21 dollar charge., ($25.00/ea.)
Rope:
We always provide straps to load/unload (we will need them back or a fee will be applied), If is Load only we recommend you to ask about our packing materials prices., ($5.00/ea.)
