First of all I am missing my iPod. It was in a box attached to headphones that one of the workers took upon themselves to tape up. This turned out to be a common thing for the workers to do; take a box and put additional items in it and tape it up without my wife or I knowing what had been put in the box. The workers packed both my wife's and my laptops on their own and separated the power cords from the computers. The chargers for my cell phone were packed and I had no knowledge as to what box they had been placed in. None of the boxes that were sealed by the movers were marked so we had no idea what was in those boxes.
As I said, my iPod is the only item missing from the move.
I hired two movers and three showed up. Plus one worker brought his niece who ended up working along with the rest of the crew. I hired two workers for two hours and they ended up dragging the job out to three hours, costing me additional money.
I intend to contact the firm this week to report the missing iPod. The iPod was a gift from this last Christmas.
Given the opportunity to do this again, I would not hire this firm.

I was very happy with the first company I chose through HireAHelper.com. All went smoothly. Good guys who knew what they were doing. Good attitudes.
I chose the cheapest company on the second part of my move and felt the mover was unprofessional on the phone. HireAHelper was quick to offer me another company. It was nice not to have to handle "firing" one provider and doing more research on my own. The second company did a great job and also had a great attitude.
