I scheduled online the week prior to my move for help unloading and requested 10:00 am arrival. The manager said they were really busy that day and could not accommodate morning but could have two men there at 3:00. I called to check status prior to moving day and then several times during the day to confirm. When it became obvious they would not make the contracted time, I called several more times and manager was friendly and kept assuring me they would be there as soon as possible. At this late hour, i didn’t feel i had the option to cancel them as i needed to return the truck the next day. Two men arrived finally a few minutes before 6:00. They were very nice men but didn’t speak English so luckily my sister was able to communicate enough in Spanish to assist. They were very diligent and hard working laborers but had not been well-trained for unloading and hauling efficiently with the dolly and so my sister and i were helping too, to speed up the process as much as possible. After three hours (had scheduled 2 people for two hours to UNLOAD since it only took 2 hours to LOAD the entire truck) we had only unloaded 1/3 of the truck and it was getting dark and more difficult. The heavy items that had caused me to hire help were still in the truck. With the three hours with me, the guys had already worked 11 hours that day. I called them off since it was dark and we still had much to do, and didn’t want to put anyone’s safety at risk. The owner called me to close out the ticket and when i shared the status and my frustration, she told me the guys would keep going and finish the job in the dark and i would pay $80 per additional hour. I closed out the ticket for the two hours and tipped the guys for their hard work. I did not feel the result warranted me paying the company for the additional 50 mins. Owner was belligerent and not willing to take any responsibility for untrained staff or late arrival on this job gone bad. She inferred that if i did not pay the additional, the guys would not be paid and threatened to call the police on me. Additionally, i was surprised that the tools they arrived with were not professional quality dollies or carts and owner told me that this was labor-only. This was not a problem since i had some, but would have preferred to have that verbalized when i scheduled the appointment. Again, i want to stress that the actual laborers were friendly and hard-working—they were just not set up for success with proper training and realistic scheduling; and the owner was not at all open to my concerns. I hope they will address these issues so that others who hire them will have better results in the future.

Five stars bc they got it all in. However, they didn’t use any of the provided furniture blankets or ratchet straps :( I’ll be interested to see the shape of my belongings when I unpack in two months..

Very happy with the service. They were able to come early, which was great (they called beforehand to confirm that was okay). The pod container was packed professionally, with the boxes and items fitting well together. They completed the job in a good amount of time.

I was supposed to have four people and they only sent two. They didn’t make use of the moving blankets to protect my furniture and I have scratches and marks on a lot of it. I got a tear in one of my couches by the way they loaded it in the truck. They were able to get almost everything in the truck for my one way move to Florida but I had to leave all my mirrors and glass behind, thank God otherwise they would’ve been broken.
