I just needed one helper to help move 4 dressers and 3 bookcases up two flights of stairs. He showed up a few minutes early and got right to work helping me. Only took about 30 minutes. Then he asked if he could help move the boxes in as well, since he had a two hour minimum. I left it up to him, but he moved all the boxes up three flights of stairs to my attic in about another 30 minutes. Saved me a lot of time and well worth the price. I will be finishing my move in another month and will definitely be calling them back to help again.

These guys were great...as requested, they gave us a one hour heads up as to when they would arrive so we could get from one house to another and they were on time. They were well prepared and worked very hard and finished in less time than I was anticipating. IF we were to every move again, these are definitely the people I'd ask for again.

I hired 2 workers for 4 hours to help me move two rooms to a new address. I am disabled which makes moving around difficult, I was able to get most of the packing done however I was unable to get everything boxed so the workers needed to help me with this.
The workers arrived 10 minutes early which was great but after that problems started. One of the workers was polite and worked hard, however the second worker did not say very much, he acted like he didn't know what to do. This worker stood around most of the time not working, when he did do something he would take one or two light items to the truck or he would take items from a pile that I repeatedly said not to touch yet. It took 5 hours to load the truck.
I did get lost going to my new address which did cost some extra time. When we got to our destination a replacement for the slow guy was waiting. The new guy was a hard worker so I have 2 good workers now, it took around 2 hours to unload the truck. Now we are up to 7 hours work hours, between getting lost and whatever I was charged for 8 hours.
I ask from the beginning that I needed a driver for the truck which they took care of. When it was time to take the truck back my workers said they would tack care of it. The next morning I get a call from the truck rental place saying that the truck was turned in at the wrong place. My son and myself went and got the truck and took it over to the correct rental place. It turns out that the workers went for a hundred mile joy ride, I had to pay for the extra miles plus the extra gas.
I am missing some receipts, doggie treats and a few dvd's which makes no sense because I have items that are more valuable. I did complain about the one bad worker so they charged me for 7 hours instead of 8 hours. I can't believe they took (at the most a 4 hour job) and turned it into 8 hours.
I am a disabled old lady that needed help and I was taken advantage of. Needless to say I will not be using "Another Chance Staffing Solutions" again and I do not recommend them for anybody.
