We hired 2 guys for 3 hours, they showed up early and worked their asses off for the entire time. We had a little too much stuff for our truck and they even worked extra hard to tetris it all in without breaking anything over the 350 mile drive we had to make. I would absolutely reccomend all star movers, and would use them again myself if I ever move back to the Chicago land area.

Good communication on arrival time. They were extremely helpful, very efficient use of time and loaded our POD So that everything was secure. They were friendly and very careful with our belongings. I would definitely recommend them!!!

Tony and Greg did a great job! They got there right on time and didn't stop the whole time. We can't believe how well they filled the truck and how efficient they were so we only had to make 1 trip. The brought everything we had asked for.
Very personable and funny. We did end up helping but that was only so it could be done quicker because we totally misjudged how much stuff we had.

The two men helpers came and worked diligently throughout 5 hours without any breaks. We were impressed with their work ethics.
Most impressive work they had done was to remove steel shelves that were crumbling. We did not know the conditions of shelves. On their way of next assignment, they remembered it and came back to get rid of the shelves. We were very happy to hire such outstanding helpers.

In spite of screw ups between Hire A Helper and ALLSTAR movers, the two guys who came here did a fantastic job.
They were supposed to come with dolly and tools etc. I called Hire A Helper, the day before and I was told on the phone that they would come with basic tools and dolly. But these guys showed up with absolutely no tools (I mean not even a screwdriver). We loaned ours (to disassemble bed frames).
I don't understand why you guys ask me whether I want any tools. I informed you what needs to be done. You have to decide what tools to bring. I am no expert nor do I have any experience to suggest tools for you.

Greg and Tony were THE BEST!!!!!!!!!! I didn't hear one piece of furniture drop or slip or bang on the ground. Nothing! They handled each piece like it was a newborn baby. They moved carefully and slowly. But not so slow that you think they're stalling. Total pros they were. They loaded up the POD outside like a stack of boxed Jenga pieces. PRECISION. And, on top of that, that are very nice and very gracious.These guys worked their tails off and I wish I had a cold six-pack of Coors (or Coke ... whatever floats their boat) to give them when it was over. Hire-A-Helper, make note, Greg and Tony are awesome.
