inquire about their arrival time. No phone number that was listed was I able to get ahold of anyone. One number went to voice mail, however the mailbox was full. The other number I left a voice mail, however no one called me back. Approx 10:25 I received a call from one of the movers, he stated they were running behind and should arrive in approx one hour. So I confirmed the arrival time of 11:25 he said yes. At 11:30 I called the two numbers listed, to no avail, and Called the number that the mover called me back. They picked up, no answer and hung up. I tried calling back, it went straight to voicemail. I begin calling Hire A Helper to voice my concern about the lack of communication and late arrival. Victor from Hire a Helper stated he will try to call the owner and get information. He came back and said they should be arriving in the hour. 1:30 they finally arrive. They begin loading up the container. In the process they damaged two corner walls, scuffed the floor and damaged the front door. These will be coming out of my deposit when I move out of my apartment. The gentlemen had no regards to property. scooting my couches and other items across the floor with barely any shrink wrap around the items. They tried to get my couch in the elevator, which they were unable to do, scooting it on the sides, lifting it up and almost knocking the lights out of the elevator. They ended up carrying the couch down the stairs. They were unable to accommodate all my items in the container provided. Barely getting the couch and mattress in the container. The way the container was packed, and the way they handled my property, there may be damages and I will not recommend them.
I’m sorry the movers did meet your expectations. The guys called and voiced their concerns as soon as they arrived. You treated them unfairly because they weren’t the race of movers you would have preferred. Mike and Cb are great movers and stayed to get the job done besides dealing with hostility from you. You provided very little stretch wrap, and they used what you provided., the elevator wasn’t a service elevator and was too small for your sofa.. I have pictures of the loaded container if you would like me to send them to you… yes we are a minority run company and I’m sorry you don’t approve.

The fellows arrived late, but called and let me know. About a thirty minute delay, but these folks got right to work. They were very efficient in their efforts, finishing the job in two hours instead of the three I had scheduled. Wish I had a moving business, I would have poached these men from their employer and had they work for me.
I can fully recommend this group for any moving needs.
