They were several hours late, did reach out with a reason but we were on a tight schedule to start and they showed up with 4 people (one of which worked at most 2 hrs) when we were told the job could be done by three and in the allotted time frame. They went over by 2 hours (for a total of 8 hrs) and insisted we pay for 4 movers when only three did 99.9% of the work. On top of that the group of three were mostly one guy loading while every one else stood around. We specifically requested BEFORE beginning to load the trailer that if there’s a chance not everything will fit we have some specific boxes set aside that we can manage - they indicated it would be no problem to get items in trailer. Not all items would fit and by the time this was shared with us the things left were things we struggled ourselves moving. When we spoke with Hire a helper prior to releasing funds we shared this information but in a very u professional manner had us put the movers on the phone to get their take on the added mover who didn’t do any work and the extra hours as well as the leftover items - when movers handed back the phone to us hire a helper expected us to negotiate with the movers over the added mover & time - and he had every excuse to suggest we were wrong when my husband was there & saw who and who didn’t work. My husband went and got them lunch mid day when he got back NO ONE was working - and several times throughout the day long periods of time were taken where no work was done. This contributed to the extra time needed to complete the job. Several times my husband smelled the aroma of marijuana when one or more would run out to their vehicle and return. Then to put an added cherry on top of the poor and unprofessional work completed one of them left their phone/laptop charger asked us to overnight it to him and he’d reimburse us for the cost… GUESS what ?! He did not reimburse us. We certainly hope when we find a home to move to that the crew that will unload the truck will be much more professional about the work!

Except for the earlier than expected arrival, everything went smoothly. The two men were pleasant, professional and strong. I would not hesitate to contact them again for another job.

The 4 individuals Hired did not show up on time. 2 came a little after 9, the third showed up 40 minutes later and the 4th showed up 1 1/2 hours late and did not know until that day he was working.
The individuals were good workers. Respectful and helpful.

The two guys arrived 5 hours late. They were nice but completely inexperienced and didn't have the proper supplies. They didn't bring Saran wrap (which I had asked for when they contacted me) or tape or have a good dolly. They drug my furniture across the bottom of the pod unprotected and chipped the legs of the furniture piece .They packed antique furniture without wrapping it even though there were moving blankets provided by me that went unused. They also didn't use the braces that I provided so the load was left mostly unsecured. They didn't pack the larger items first and were left trying to stuff them in at the end after having filled much of the space with small boxes and pillows.
