John was incredible. We scheduled for 2 hours and he and Cameron did it in 2 hours. They were so friendly and courteous I would use John again and definitely recommend his services. Thank you again....

The company hired to move me was A Plus Moving with. He called me that morning to say he would arriving around 11:30 a.m., and he did. Two other men were with him. The first 2 hours went fine. However, then I heard loud voices and asked if everything was alright. I was told it was. Then one of his helpers came to tell me that he could not continue with the move because the boss (John) was treating him poorly and threatened to leave him stranded (when he lived in the Plant City area). I went down to see if I could calm John down, but he said he wasn't going to work with the man and was not going to finish the job! He then used vulgar language when speaking to the helper, and then left the job. The other man on the job just stood there quietly. The 2 drivers offered to help finish the job if they could get a ride home afterwards. I agreed and they both continued moving things on their own. They did a good job. My son-in-law gave them both a ride home later. They told me that John owed both of them money since they started with him earlier that morning, but knew he wouldn't pay them. He has done it to other people he's hired. I paid them for their work and they were very appreciative. I first hired one company, but then another one was chosen because the calendar wasn't updated, so I got A Plus Moving. I would not recommend them, and if someone asks about using Hire-A-Helper, I would make sure they knew what happened with my move.

John and Bentley , called to say they were on their way & to clarify directions as apartment complex was new, and arrived on time. They took care with assessing best way to do job, and carefully unloaded truck. They worked well as a team, one bedroom apartment, took three hours non stop. They set up furniture, put legs back on pieces, bringing their own tools and moving dollies, straps, etc. John even went the extra mile to repair a stripped screw in one of the furniture legs and added some new ones for the wood pieces that attached the dresser mirror. They were pleasant, easy to work with, made the move in as fun as it could be! Would definitely use them again.

Tetris champion! They took a 26 foot truck and were able to pack it into a 10x20 foot space with inches to spare. Saved me money by not having to rent a second unit. Worked the entire time and were professional. Would recommend for future moves.

Wonderful experience. Arrived on time, worked really hard. The job took a bit longer than we had planned but they stayed to the end and the extra expense was worth it.
