These guys were absolutely fabulous! I was a nervous wreck having never done such a big move before, they showed up early, ready, worked very hard and effortlessly handled every item they moved with absolute care. They were fast, efficient, extremely kind and patient with me and all my questions. My anxious nerves very quickly calmed down into a calm sense of comfort that all my precious pieces were in very capable and caring hands. I did not think all of my stuff would fit into the POD I had rented, so had allocated items to stay behind, but their brilliant minds managed to fit EVERYTHING! I had 3 feet of space to spare thanks to their clever (yet still very careful) packing skills. Amazing!!! Truly amazing. Massive thanks are due to Raheem and Court for such a remarkable job - thank you so so much for all your help!

Not only were my movers on time, they were early! That just started the positive experience - the movers were prepared, knowledgeable, took great care in handling my property, and were highly efficient. Would most certainly use them again for any future moves!!

Our movers disagreed on their approach to loading and argued throughout the move. At one point, they got into a screaming match on our street, during which I heard the f-word repeatedly yelled from my second floor apartment. Our PODS driver intervened and said they were being unprofessional and needed to stop. This left me feeling concerned about how our belongings were being handled and I have no idea how they’ll come out when we retrieve them from storage. I’m not sure if this was the reason we had to pay for an additional 1.5 hours over on our reservation, since I booked the recommended timeframe.
We don't get bad reviews often so it is taken very seriously and the issue will be addressed.
For service quality reasons at ProMove only 4 of our 12 active helpers pack trucks, the 4 of us are very good at it so your items will be fine. Our crews are efficient as a rule. We do not waste time. The job took longer because you had a large apartment and stairs, along with the crew loading a Pod which takes longer due to the truck height & lift gate. The packer requested specific items to fit in available spaces but kept getting other things so he regrettably, emphatically asked in stronger terms for the items. 2 stars seems harsh but my ears may not be as sensitive. Sorry again, we learn from it and we move on (get it? "move on" cause we're movers.... :-) I'm hilarious!)

Workers were a bit late but were great when arrived. Recommend to company to cover the cost for workers to take an Uber to job instead of spotty public transit.

We had a wonderful experience with our helpers. They were punctual, very hardworking, and took great care of our belongings! We were moving into a fourth floor walk-up and could not have done it without them. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Promove! They check in with you before, during and after the move. You feel very supported. The movers showed up on time and were fast and professional. They handled all my things with care and packed my pod in a smart way. They also did all this in the rain. Great company!

Our team, Eric and Rob, arrived early and finished packing our Uhaul for us half an hour early. They were extremely professional, FAST, and packed our truck very well - nothing got broken or damaged in transit. They made a pretty stressful move so much easier. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs packing help.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile and very expensive medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then our most experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Kirk) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
