Tyler and Pedro from Minute Men Movers were amazing! They exceeded my expectations and I have really high standards. I hired 2 men for 4 hours to load the 1st 2 of the 4 16-ft pods I had reserved (only 2 pods fit in the driveway at 1 time so the other 2 pods were to be delivered 2 days later). Because pods 3&4 needed to be loaded on a Sun, when Minute Men was not available, I had also reserved 2 men for 4 hrs from a different company that worked Sun (5 Star Movers) to load pods 3 &4. The other company (5 Star) had contacted me repeatedly several days prior to tell me there was no way 2 men could load 2 pods in 4 hours and strongly pressured me to hire a 3rd man for the job. Well, not only did Tyler and Pedro from Minute Men load 2 pods in 4 hours, they loaded what I had estimated as 3-4 pods worth of stuff into just 2 pods!!!! (There were a few bikes and some minor garage things left but not nearly enough for even 1/2 a 3rd pod). Tyler and Pedro worked tirelessly without taking any breaks even though it was very hot. They were very respectful of our property. They knew just how to load the pods to maximize space and safety of the contents. Because Tyler and Pedro did such an amazing job, they saved us $2000 on pods 3-4 plus $600 on a 2nd set of movers! Shame on you, 5 Star Movers for trying to convince me that 2 men couldn’t load 2 pods in 4 hours!! None of these companies issue a refund if the job is done earlier, so it’s to their advantage to tell you it will take longer or require more men. My other cautionary comment is that we had all furniture completely taken apart, wrapped in blankets & Saran-wrapped, and everything boxed up before the movers arrived, so all the movers needed to do was literally load the stuff into the pods. If we hadn’t done that, it would have taken much longer.

I would like to rate these guys 10 Stars! They were so good. They're wrapped my furniture very carefully, they packed the Pod so tightly we couldn't get even a peapod in there. They handled everything as if it were their own. No, even better than if it had been their own. Hire them, and you'll be happy.

They were here on time & worked hard the whole while they were here-very efficient! It is a super hot day but that did not slow them down. They knew just how to fit the puzzle of furniture together in the pod! I would recommend them to anyone needing to use movers.

I booked 2 movers for 2 hours. Knowing I only had a few pieces of furniture to move, I told the person when I booked them that I would need the movers to assemble a desk/hutch and headboard/bed frame. The movers did not know anything about me wanting them to help assemble pieces of furniture, nor did they bring any tools. The person I booked with said they would have tools. Luckily, I had brought my own tools. They tried their best, but were only able to assemble the hutch (I only had screw drivers, no drill - so it took a long time). Needless to say, we were left to assemble the rest of the desk and the headboard and bed frame.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
A customer can expect a call from one of our booking agents to confirm the move and go over additional details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A customer can expect a call from the crew lead an hour prior from the arrival window to confirm the move. Once the crew arrives, they will do a walk thru to ensure the move is completed in an efficient manner and will stay until excused from the customer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To ensure the move goes as smoothly as possible it is best to plan accordingly. Have furniture pads, stretch wrap and straps/rope ready for the movers to use if you are providing. Book elevators in advance so the movers don't have to wait.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled, local, long distance and office moves in the past.

What training do you provide your crew members?
We undergo 2 weeks of training where we will put a trainee with an experienced crew lead before being trusted to work alongside another individual.
