I really liked the two guys that worked at my home but now I am finding things are missing in boxes I packed myself and labeled. I am missing a 2 1/2 statue of the Virgin Mary. I opened box and the heavy towels I wrapped it in are all that is left. I had 3 super large packages of toilet tissue gone, 24 rolls each from HEB grocery. Also 5, 3 roll packs of Bounty paper towels. I also have damaged furniture, A small roll top writing desk with bottom broken off on side do it sits lop sided now. A small 2 shelf book case , 3 sides broken, a longer TV cabinet with a hole punched in the top. I have not finished unloading boxes yet but I have several broken pieces of pottery and glass wear that has been broken. These items were packed in heavy paper first, then bubble wrap. Also, the unloaders broke the American Flag on my 3 wheel bicycle. One kept ringing it all the way from the pod into my back garage. It was fine till he left it in pieces, my last gift from my dead husband. I have found other boxes that were gone into after I packed them and wrapped them well. What in the hell goes on here. I only used POD when my neighbor recommended them and Pod recommended you. If you have insurance let me know. I still need to contact POD about this and I still am opening boxes. My religious statue of the Virgin Mary breaks my heart. Figure it out for your self God knows what people do!!!

Both workers were exactly on time and both finished their job within 90 minutes! I was amazed how fast they worked, specially in hot temperature of high 90s. I highly recommend this company for any type of moving.

The gentlemen were extremely helpful. They were new to the company so did not have all of the equip they needed. Fortunately we had a hand truck and furniture dollies.

The guys that showed up, arrive 30 mins early and started working right away. They were quick and efficient despite not having any equipment to help them. The only complaint I have is that they broke two drawers from my dresser and didn’t let me know about it. I found out when we were putting it back together. Other than that, great service.

I was out of town so I had a family member meet the movers, I was told later that, a man and woman showed up to mover some furniture my garage to second floor, the woman could not lift the heavy items so my family member had to help and didn’t get paid because I hired movers! So I wish I had known before I had given the approval to pay.

It's too bad that Elite Staffing services uses Hire a Helper as their contact for outreach. Hire a Helper as well as Elite Staffing services were not helpful when I over booked their service for a move I used their cost estimator and it estimated 4 movers 3 hours so it took it mean 2 movers 6 hours. I booked 5 hours The movers that showed up were excellent and efficient workers and we finished in less than 2 hours. I agreed to pay three hours and expected a 2 hour refund. I overheard the movers boss tell them he would pay them 3 hours also. That was only fair. Elite staffing refused to refund and Hire a helper offered one hour refund to settle. remember the movers were only paid 3 hours. The movers work hard and are not compensated for the value that they add to the service. I felt that Elite services took advantage of excellent movers and treated them as slave labors. In hind sight I would schedule minimum hours and wait for the additional charges for the extra time. They rip off the consumer and their workers. I would look for a more reputable moving service for sure!!!!!

My helper was Mike. He was a one man working crew. Very polite and respectful. Hard worker and very professional in the moving busy. He works safely and efficiently. He is the Jack of all trades and the King of Many! My husband and I truly enjoyed and appreciate having Mike work in our home. Thank Mike so very much.
