The crew was wonderful! Very friendly and efficient. On time, they worked diligently and cheerfully even though it was an extremely hot day. We are very satisfied and we enthusiastically recommend Q’s moving!

They were on time and prepared. Some of my stuff got pretty banged up, but the really expensive stuff made the trip undamaged for the most part. I have a small wood table that was placed sideways on the street and sidewalk, badly damaging the finish. I worked with them, so we were done really fast.
I think there is a bit of misunderstanding between hire-a-helper and the moving companies. The hours and people allotted for my move were based on my move being from one apartment to another apartment, so not a lot of stuff. But someone at Q's Moving called and said I had too much stuff and too many stairs so the move would probably last 6 hours and need 3 men. I think they need to sort out that aspect a bit better because my budget was based on the 2+ hours estimated by Hire-a-Helper. Being told it could be as many as 6 hours was discouraging and frustrating.

Amazing experience with Hire a Helper. I used them in Nevada and then in New York. I CANNOT say enough about how easy our move was with the help of this service. Kept us informed of arrival, on time, kind, caring and handled all of our items with care. HIGHLY recommend them to any and everyone moving long distance and locally.

They did an ok job, but one of the movers was unbelievably rude. I clearly specified that a few of the items in my apartment were NOT to be removed, but he kept going and grabbing those and trying to take them. Each time, I would say "you can just leave that" and he got visibly angry and snapped at me, telling me that I told him to bring that stuff and to stop changing my mind. Then he would come back a few minutes later and try again to grab the same thing I specifically asked him not to. Upon arriving at the drop off location, I discovered he did bring several of the items I very clearly said not to bring, and would now have to return them to my old apartment. Beyond that, once he saw my new apartment, spent several minutes talking about how small it was and berating me for choosing to live there. I just didn't say anything in response, hoping he would just shut up and get back to work, but he just kept commenting on it, wasting time

Q’s Moving was excellent. The men were not only on time but early. They were absolutely prepared for the job. They were courteous and professional. They worked extremely hard and they worked very well together. Thomas, and Q and forgive me the last gentleman broke his but I can’t remember his name. Thomas who kept telling me to calm down and not stress was such a welcome voice. They were so good that after I saw how careful they were with my stuff. I totally let the stress go. Would definitely use again hoping to get the same 3 gentleman and I highly recommend. Everyone in the office at Q’s was very nice and explained in detail. Love that Anastasia and everyone I dealt with.

They came on time, they seemed to be prepared and the stuff they did move was unbroken. But tldr; they weren't very efficient and made the environment very uncomfortable because of tension between the movers themselves, causing things to be forgotten.
The move took much longer than I expected. I only moved 4 streets down and while parking is a nightmare I only had one bedroom apartment's worth of things to move so I was surprised it took 5.5 hours (meaning I was charged for the extra 1.5).
There was also a lot of uncomfortable tension between the movers themselves. 2 of the 3 were friendly but the third was very audibly angry at them for taking so long and making him come upstairs to put some of my furniture together and kept yelling about it whether they were present or not while I was in the adjacent room just waiting for them all to finish. This was distracting enough to the movers themselves that they forgot multiple things, including returning my TV feet (meaning I couldn't actually put together and use my TV for a couple days while I waited for one of them to drop them off).
Lastly, when I returned to my old apartment later the day of the move I found the front door left wide open for anyone to access and two small but heavy lamps had been left on a window sill that I fully expected them to move to my new apartment. They had given no indication that they had decided to leave them, I have no idea why this happened and I was not told that the door was left open in that way so anyone could have gone in and taken them.

The team came with a positive attitude and smoothly moved our belongings carefully and efficiently. They wrapped delicate furniture and moved without damage. When moving our things to our new house, they avoided scratching the walls and floors.
We had a complicated move, with items in an apartment and two storage units. We scheduled these separately which avoided a lot of problems. The dispatcher understood our situation and worked with us to get the right crews at the right time.
